If you look up revelation it says quite clearly there Lucifer's throne is buried deep below the oasis at meadowhall, are you tired of quality goods that last a lifetime?, then come here and spend elevated prices for badly manufactured future landfill, or why not stuff your face with artificial crap whilst listening to screaming kids, spend most of your time people dodging, before being punched in the face by a security guard for taking a selfie, oh what's that on your windscreen?, not a present surely, how kind from masterbate watch-100 fine, meadowhell has it all and then some.

Ladies Toilets at Meadowhall Centre

I have been regularly visiting Meadowhall Shopping Centre since it opened. In that time it has become very noticeable that the quality of cleanliness in ladies public toilets has deteriorated. I was there yesterday at around 9.30am and the state of the toilets near Timpson’s and Greggs was already very poor. Had they not been cleaned the previous night? Had they not been cleaned that morning? The quality seems to be poor in all ladies toilets at Meadowhall. I can only assume that the quality of staff is lower or the quantity of staff is reduced. I would assume the latter. Please, please, please Meadowhall, can this issue be considered and standards improved.

If only this would make a difference

If only this would make a difference , I have not been to Meadowhall for what seems to be ages but my visit last week was very disappointing mainly 2 dislikes I am disabled and need to make frequent stops and I didn't find a reasonable height seat they were all so low and not easy to get out of and the people I talked to said the same , it never use to be like that ,for disabled and the not so young could you please do some research into a more comfortable experience this really did spoil my day and don't think I could come back. Crystal peaks shopping centre had the same problem some years back but seemed to have addressed the problem (I really can't see Meadowhall changing all or some of its seats). The other dislike, where have all the lifts gone ? I really could do with using the lifts but on my visit I took a friend who was in a wheel chair that made it double disappointing , we had to go all the way to the food court near cinema to find one, I asked a staff member what had happened and all she said is that she finds it really difficult with a pram when she visits, so not just the disabled , wheelchair and not so young , but families with prams. On the day I went it wasn't so busy and we got the lift straightaway on our own but go on a busy day and there will be queues.
So for me and my friend I don't think we could enjoy a day there again, such a pity but thousands will not be spent putting in lifts and new chairs for the likes of us. Why did you take out the lifts, anyone know?

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR SAFETY SAKE

If I could give this Shopping Centre a minus I would. I am disgusted and angry beyond words at the total and utter lax way that this Centre took people's, and I am talking several thousand, safety seriously when there was a substantial to large fire which turned out to in the next door Industrial Estate.
My Experience.
I was a new visitor. I was somewhere in the middle when I hear some kind of hooter. Nothing was announced. It went off after about 30 seconds by which time I smelled smoke. After a good minute, the hooter went again. Not very loud, again no announcement to say what it was but I assumed a fire . As I looked up I saw the green running man, the emergency exit and I started to follow it, not before I walked into a wall of thick descended smoke which impaired vision and the a young boy in front of me started coughing violently. At this point, people were getting a lot more panicky. I saw people going up an escalator but I carried on towards the emergency exit. NOT ONCE did I see so called Security. Not once. When I got to the Emergency exit, all were shut. No Security anywhere. I wasn't interested in getting my car. I was interested in getting out of the place. Would you not think that's Common Sense or have I got it wrong all these years? I turned around to the way I came and walked up the escalator eventually to the car park. Plenty people coughing.
I was shaking with anger when I got out.
Nobody knew that the fire was next door. The wall of smoke I hit indicated we needed to get out fast. Some Chance. Emergency exit locked.
I tell you, if there are Security in this place, they need hauling in front of, I would say a Manager but it's clear he/ she hasn't the first idea what the word means and whoever is in charge of this place needs sacking. Immediately. Their" Fire Drill". was beyond the pale. It was non existent and I am telling you, unless this is sorted right away, there will be a major incident should a fire break out. They are clearly taking the attitude that " It won't happen here" Well I am sure the Bar in the Ski Resort yesterday thought the same thing and 50 people dead later, there they are.
Thousands of people. Nothing to tell you what the pathetic intermittent hooting is. Nobody in uniform anywhere to be seen. Emergency exit locked. Absolute Shambles. What could possibly go wrong?
Meadowhall you are a total disgrace and you need to sort it NOW.

A very satisfying trip to Levi's Store…

A very satisfying trip to Levi's Store today. I entered not really knowing quite what I wanted and a lady called Alex basically listened and was really helpful in providing me with various styles of jeans to try on to suit my body shape. With her help, I purchased a complete outfit and also had the jeans shortened in store. I hate clothes shopping, but today, it was a painless experience for a change! It was a pleasure to go shopping and actually find something that fits for a change. Alex gets a 5☆ rating for her help today. Thank you.

Hidden Rules, Unjust Parking Fines

I feel the same—as others have mentioned, the requirement to register your vehicle in order to park in a family bay is both bizarre and virtually unheard of, and it is neither clearly announced nor properly signposted. It's hard to understand how practices like this continue without proper accountability.

Horrendous experience at Meadowhall…

Horrendous experience at Meadowhall this week. It was my first and last visit. After enjoying the shopping experience I returned to my car to find a parking fine for £100! I had displayed my disabled badge so I appealed the decision however the corrupt management decided to not up hold my appeal and I have still been fined. This is absolutely horrendous treatment of disabled people. The car park has thousands and thousands of spaces and if they pull this with others I imagine they are making a tidy packet of its customers by issuing parking permit tickets @ £100 each! Be warned it makes for a very expensive shopping trip. Corrupt organisation exploiting the most vulnerable. I will never return and advise others to visit elsewhere

Beware of buying gift cards from Meadowhall

I’m really disappointed with Meadowhall Customer Services. I had an expired gift card by a month and asked them if they can extend the date as other shops and companies do. The response from a customer service representative to me was an abrupt( actual words) “No , you’re lost any money that was on the card”
Basically after sending an email to customer service , I find out that Meadowhall do not have anything to do with the gift cards they sell. It is a different company that it is impossible to contact to discuss. Why aren’t they transparent about this and seemingly endorsing a company that must be taking large amounts of money from vulnerable customers with expired gift cards. The Gift cards do not have any expiry date on them. They are activated on the date as soon as someone buys one. The person like me might not receive it for a few weeks. Yes they are then valid from the date of purchase and should be used within a year. Yet people are forgetful and don’t remember to use them in time. A little understanding and goodwill would be appreciated. I believe that the gift cards should show an activation date and expiry date and they show neither of these.

A Visit to this appalling Shopping…

A Visit to this appalling Shopping Centre to pay for and collect around £1000.00 of collectable expensive Crystal was sadly marred by the manner and disgusting behaviour of the Security Firm, Churchill Securities, whom Meadowhall, owned by Norge Bank, and administered by British Land, employ to act in a manner similar to that of Night Club Bouncers.
My friend of many years, now 81 years old, whom I see infrequently due to distance from each other’s homes, and I met in the centre, to pay and collect pre-ordered Crystal items, destined to be for my wife’s Christmas presents, which had been reserved for me by the Assistant Manager of the shop in a telephone call previously.
We entered the Crystal shop and went to the counter, where the shop assistants were aware of our presence and identity and immediately produced the ordered items, together with a small gift which apparently they had been advised to give to long standing loyal customers, who visited the store. At the same time I also asked to purchase another out of stock item, which I was happy to pay for at the same time, but would need to be shipped to me in a few days’ time, and which the shop would organise at the time of my visit. This had all been discussed with the shop when I telephoned prior to the visit to the shop. I also had a “Loyalty Voucher” to redeem against my purchases.
The 2 shop assistants found the purchase to be beyond their capabilities and as there was no manager, nor Assistant manager present, due, we ultimately found to be because one was on a course and the other on a rest day, we asked the assistants to contact by telephone one or other of these senior personnel of the store to ascertain how the transaction could be completed. After 2 further calls, I asked the assistants to let me speak to the Manager, apparently who had not be called, in an endeavour to assist. We had been in the store for now a matter of around 40 minutes. The store girls failed to do this but instead, due to their inability to process what was simply a sale of 4 items of considerable value, they instead telephoned the Meadowhall Centre Security, and apparently advised them that they “felt unsafe” and wished me, a man of similar age to my friend, to be thrown out of the store. The assistants did not advise us that they were going to do this, nor even request that we leave. However we were then accosted by two Meadowhall Security staff, who failed to produce any identification and told us that we were to remove ourselves from the store. We were given no reason for this ejection and questioned the position. The security staff refused to give a reason and kept, in loud voice and at close quarters with intimidating and waving arms, telling us that we must leave. They refused to listen to us within the shop, where my goods, and my free gift were visible on the counter, and insisted that we leave and would talk outside, which was totally unacceptable.
After we left, both my friend and I took the matter up with the Management of the companies concerned and have met with simply a blank refusal to discuss logically the matter, where from the Body Cam footage, it is clear that we were verbally and virtually manually accosted by one of the Security Guards. We are told variously that there will be no further correspondence to reasonably resolve the matter of this assault upon our persons variously by Senior Personnel of Churchill; Meadowhall and of British Land.
From other reviews, it is quite clear that the Management take little notice of complaints, simply dismissing them with contempt and dismissal by refusal to continue communication with reasonable dialogue.
