An excellent experience at Meadowhall.
I telephoned Customer services yesterday to see if they had Disability scooters for hire.I spoke to Julie who said not until later than I wanted but I could walk in & pick up a wheelchair,so we decided to do that.
When we arrived,fortunately Julie was still on duty & even more fortunately a scooter had become available.She was lovely,so helpful & treated my husband with dignity & patience even taking him on a trial run!Papers signed,fee paid(only £2.00)& off we zoomed.
On returning,the staff had changed but the three male staff were polite & friendly.Gareth in particular was so helpful in getting my husband from the scooter to the wheelchair so that I could get him to the car.
It is so nice to deal with friendly,empathetic people when you are in a stressful situation as it often is with a disabled husband!I was very grateful for their kindness & professionalism.Many thanks Julie & Gareth.
We shall return😊

Parked in parent and child parking space (with my child) and came back to a £100 fine for not registering my child and car on their web site.

Utter blatant profiteering and blatant contempt for customers. The type of behaviour you might expect from a dodgy back street parking operator, or a company losing money hand over fist and trying any desperate effort to rinse every last penny out of any rube dumb enough to show up.

There is no doubt in my mind why shopping centres are struggling, I will never go back.

Incidentally the place is awful.

I bought a Swatch Watch from East Midlands Airport on the way to Spain on the 8th November 24 When I opened it, it didn’t work. I couldn’t do anything about it as I had already boarded the plane when I found out. I took the watch to Swatch at Meadowhall on Tuesday the 12, not really expecting them to be able to help. The 2 girls were amazing & without question replaced it. We will definitely be back!!

It’s a shopping centre. There’s shops.

However some idiot decided to lock the doors while there was still people in the centre.

I was shopping for some new makeup earlier on today and had amazing customer service from a lovely young lady, Keira. Helped me find everything i needed in such a short amount of time. Brilliant!!

Went to meadowhall to look at prams for my daughter, in next, mamas and papas, we was served by shannon, couldnt ask for a better person to help us, polite, friendly, very proffessional, made the time to explain how everything works, take items off pram fit other things on,offers, etc, we did purchase one, so thank you shannon for helping us today.

I used to think the struggles of the high street versus internet shopping was a tragedy. I’ve changed my mind. After travelling to Sheffield children’s hospital for an appointment we thought we would brighten our day with a trip to Meadowhall afterwards. We were hit with a parking fine after parking in a parent and child bay because apparently you now need a permit. The fact that this is not signposted doesn’t seem to matter to them. Disgraceful.

Fantastic chicken burger 🍔 and fries worth £10 best ive had for a long time could be a little hotter but was very busy keep up the fantastic work cheers Gary

Meadowhall appear to have sold on their parent & child parking spaces and you now have to register every 6 months to park there free of charge.
It’s true that there are notices in the car park but they’re not big and when you’re struggling with twins and a pushchair, looking for signs on the walls is the last thing you do. I go to Meadowhall regularly every 3 or 4 months but I certainly won’t be going again in a hurry after getting a £100 fine today.

I would just like to say how wonderful Vicky and Linnie were in new Look at Meadowhall. I was looking to order a pair of shoes sized 3 and both were just wonderful and gave wonderful customer service. I can’t thank them enough for being so amazing and professional. Thank you ladies, you are an asset to the company X

All shops are closed, and not enough seats in the food area

We parked in the pink car park which was free and easy to find. It was also very easy to access the shopping centre from here. The food court was a bit cramped but more seating upstairs which was a lot quieter. Plenty of shops and maps to help you navigate your way around and find certain shops.

My only feedback would be that they need more bins scattered around the place not just by the entrances and the food court.
