The meat came frozen I defrosted in the…

The meat came frozen I defrosted in the fridge when I wanted to use it especially the chicken turned brown and smells really bad and the same thing happened to the mince meat. There's small bones I found in the chicken breast chunks which I nearly choked on so want be using this company again sorry

Meat arrived well packed ice packs etc

Meat arrived well packed ice packs etc. however the ribeye steaks weren’t ribeye steaks. I don’t know what they were Sinew no fat chewy and chewy
Stewing steak had pipes in it. English sausages from Spain
Shan’t be ordering again

Great quality, good enough service.

Great quality meat, properly packaged, very delicious and also comes with an affordable price. However, sometimes you will get less than what you ordered (weight-wise) and it takes a while to get delivered. Despite those, it's a fairly great service.

Terrible Beef

We've had Whole Beef Fillet Trimmed 1.3-1.8kg and XL Whole Brazilian Gaucho Rib-eye 2.5-3kg (Frozen)
Both have been absolutely disgusting, so tough like frying stewing steak, which is the only way we can now cook them making it the most expensive stewing steak we've ever had.
We've also had chicken which has been fine so unfair to give 1 star but chicken is generally chicken and the same anywhere! Since chicken can be bought just as cheap locally without risking online and getting meat as bad as the steak has been we'll not be ordering again.

Horrendous quality meat

Horrendous quality meat. I feel ashamed for supporting such a terrible company that obviously seeks out meat from the cheapest and most unethical countries in the E.U.
It should be illegal to produce meat like this. I will never order anything else from this company and if you like decent meat I’d advise you to do the same.

Nice meat but be aware the pictures are…

Nice meat but be aware the pictures are slightly misleading by making things look bigger than they are. Barnsley chops looked like a meal for two but in reality were pretty tiny. But ultimately they do put in weight ranges so maybe I should have paid more attention to that

The selection was great

I ordered 2 whole fillet cuts

I ordered 2 whole fillet cuts, they were so tough that they couldnt be eaten as steak. I complained and they were apologetic and said they would replace them, after a week, I had to chase them they said they were going to send the replacement the following week which arrived, they only sent one but this was worse than the first two.

I complained and they said they agreed to only replace one.

I buy fillet this way from other suppliers online and never in my life have I had fillet steak this poor quality.

it's the most expensive stewing steak I've ever purchased. now I'm being ignored and I've just seen a post on facebook with someone else complaining of exactly the same issue with the whole fillets and I commented to say i had the same problem which was deleted within 30 minutes.

I'd stay clear and order from else where.

Photos on website are not what you…

Photos on website are not what you receive. I ordered trimmed chicken breast and what I got could only be described as strips of chicken. I also ordered smash burger mince which was clearly advertised as actual mince, what I received was a block of meatloaf which does not resemble mince in anyway. I would not use this company again and would not recommend you do.

This company is a scam AVOID!!!

This company is a scam - honestly..
They rebranded as "Meatandchops" from "meatsupermarket" because of how awful their reviews were on trustpilot and in general, so this is a way to avoid their negative past having g a fair impact on their marketing/sales. I know this for a fact as I ordered from meatandchops and all contact was through meatsupermarket email address.

My package was stolen due to not being left in specified safe space and instead within 1m of the road - yes driver is mainly to fault here, but after days of back and forth with customer service they have told me it is my fault even ignoring my consumer rights and delivery policies. I will be making a fraud investigation with my bank for this payment and reporting the situation and evidence to the financial ombudsman.

You tried to pin the blame on me as soon as I declined the replacement. I told you I declined it because it took days to get to that solution and I already had ingredients for my meal prep. You've just twisted my words and deviated from the truth again, just like your second business totally being a separate entity with unique products and not being a cover for bad business practice.. yeah right. You call me in the middle of the day while I'm at work and won't call me after 5pm. You don't take into account the evidence I showed you and after 16 emails back and forth still do not understand the issue, which is why I'm sure you're running me around the block you get me to give up, but I will just report this as fraud at this point.

Regarding your situation, when you informed us of the missing package, we immediately offered a replacement as a goodwill gesture, which is outside of our terms and conditions. However, you declined this option and instead requested a refund. Since we had no way to verify the whereabouts of the package, our team had to follow standard policy.

We understand your frustration, but we aim to apply our policies fairly and consistently to all customers.

We pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction and invite you to review our terms and conditions, which detail our policies for instances such as these. We are here to help if you have further questions and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve.
