Have only tried the 2x 8 Oz rib eye…

Have only tried the 2x 8 Oz rib eye steaks so far, but they were two different sizes and were very tough and chewy so much that I gave up trying to eat mine and binned it. Even with a sharp knife I had difficulty cutting it. Very disappointed and hope the fillet will be better.

Disappointing

Very disappointed with the fillet steak,trimming required. The cut of the fillet was very poor, only got two decent cuts from the fillet. Overall very poor.

Calling customer service number doesn’t…

Calling customer service number doesn’t give an opportunity to wait in a queue but diverts to voicemail and you don’t get called back! They should allow you to stay in the queue and let you know the number you are in line. Or give an options to leave a message

Sorry to hear you had some trouble getting in touch with us. We will definitely look in to how we can set up a call waiting system to allow customers to stay on hold until their call is picked up.

I have had a look through our email system and can see that you also sent an email regarding your issues which was picked up and resolved on the same day you sent it which would explain why your initial call was never returned.

10/10 for this online butcher

The meat turned up very well packaged and bang on time. The quality and size is phenomenal. I’ve barely eaten any of this and my basket is already filling up for my next buy. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Please try calling their ‘customer…

Please try calling their ‘customer service’ number before you order as they don’t exist as far as I can see and I’m having to use credit card company to get my refund.
Delivery delayed due to DHL. 3 days late so missed the function I ordered for but more importantly meat sat in a warehouse for 4 days and was therefore off.
A simple return of an email or answer a phone call and this could have been sorted instantly, particularly as DHL have told me they admit fault and so the company will be compensated. I asked for same goods sent again to give them a fair second go as it was DHL’s mistake, but this is where it’s all got ridiculous. No response to email and as I say, their phones just ring off every single time I’ve tried in the last 3 days. Can’t comment on the quality as I never got to try it, but with so much online competition, try someone who has basic customer service to resolve an issue rather than being left to feel like a mug.

I can see from our email history that your email was sent Sunday night and subsequently was not picked up until Wednesday due to a large amount of correspondence over the weekend. I can see the matter was resolved via a refund on the Thursday morning.
