You only use this service when you are feeling unwell and vulnerable. When you are feeling like this you need understanding, empathy and speed to see someone who can help. Mec- medical do all this and more and I cannot praise them enough . The service is incredibly quick and convenient. It can get a little complicated keeping track of all the different references and numbers and who needs what information, but that isn't because of MEC.

I had a last minute panic today when I realised I didn't have the correct reference numbers when trying to fill in the forms at hospital.

I rang MEC and after being on hold for only a minute or two. My query was answered and even though the issue was my fault, Nina Goodsall contacted the appropriate people and had the number I needed back to me in a couple of minutes!

Most of my dealings with MEC in recent time have been with Nina who always gives a professional service, ensuring that everything is in place well in advance of my hospital admission date, ensuring I have one less thing to worry about!
