I heard about poor experiences with Saturn MediaMarkt support, but it gets worse. I ordered a vacuum during their Black Friday sale. The order was confirmed, then canceled the next day. I have contacted them about six times so far, with no resolution.
First, I called by phone, but no one spoke even basic English. I explained in my best German. The agent spent at least 5 min checking, only to say she didn't know why it was canceled. I then opened a ticket and learned it was canceled because they "only ship to Germany", despite my shipping address being in Germany, proving their complete incompetence.
I had to explain this twice to finally receive an apology for the mistake, along with instructions to reorder using a specific reference number alongside the new order number. I did exactly that, but it was canceled again. Twice! When I followed up, they claimed the issue was "already solved" with a refund, meaning that they hadn't even read the ticket. This further confirms their incompetence and ignorance.
Responses take days each time, and now I'm waiting again. I strongly DO NOT recommend buying from them. Support communication is a nightmare if anything goes wrong.

The most awful customer service. My order was not delivered for 2 weeks, I tried all form of communication, and customer service responded with FOUR DIFFERENT lies each time (incuding once telling me that the order has already been delivered to me), and in the end they just said i have to wait indefinitely for my order, or cancel, I sent a cancelation email and now they won't process the cancelation and refund.

I ordered it, waited a week, got nothing. I wrote to them. Wait for the money 1 week ago. Just using your money for 2 weeks. It's the same with RAM, the price was good, I ordered it, paid for it. After a week, they realized that memory was becoming more precious and simply canceled the order. The money back is 7 working days. It should be criminally punishable.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and with how unclear your website and communication are.
I ordered three products online, and your website clearly showed that they would arrive earlier than they actually did. I also chose in-store pickup so I could collect everything at once.
To my surprise, only two products were sent to the store, and the third was suddenly being shipped to my home. The website never made this clear. I feel misled by the way this was handled.
On top of that, I received several emails telling me to pick up my products. But when I went to the store, only one item was actually there. This means I now have to make multiple trips, plus stay home for the delivery of the last product — something I did not agree to.
This has been confusing, inconvenient, and very poorly communicated, and I expect you to address this and improve your system so this doesn’t happen to other customers.

A premie/bonus of 500 euros was promised after 14 days of making a tarif contract via the S-KON group and now they say, that I need to wait for 2 more months to use that coupon. Tried calling their customer service multiple times and it hangs up automatically without connecting to any personnal.
Absolute worst service and borderline betrayal with offers !
EDIT: Finally received the promised bonus of 500 euros after more than 2 months of signing the contract. Nevertheless, they restrict the bonus only for items that are sold by Mediamarkt.

I want to complete the process for a Handy Vetrag... but I can't Mediamarkt decided to work with a Company called WebID that simply ignores clients calls, I have been calling for 2 days, I waited one time 4h and got a worker, that then hung up the call after 10seconds.. WTF is this? How are you supposed to even deal with such an horrible service? I have tried contacting them and Said I would come to the store to get the process done. But no.. the contract can only be done online.. Horrible !!!

I am absolutely disappointed with MediaMarkt and the embarrassing level of service I received. I ordered a product online for store pickup, only to find out that the store had no sealed units available and tried to hand me opened phones instead. This is completely unacceptable.
The employees in the store were confused, unhelpful, and seemed to have no idea what they were doing. Instead of offering a solution, they just stood around helplessly. The customer support hotline was no better — they wasted more than an hour of my time and still couldn’t resolve anything.
From a company like MediaMarkt, we expect professionalism, accountability, and at least a basic level of customer service. Instead, I encountered incompetence, irresponsibility, and a complete lack of customer orientation. Not friendly, not helpful, not reliable.
A truly disappointing experience. I will seriously reconsider shopping at MediaMarkt again.

The delivery was scheduled for November 20th between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. On the day of delivery, I received an update that it was being delivered, but later the website became invalid, the TV was not delivered, and there was no update from anyone. This is a terrible experience.

Delivery has been outstanding for three weeks. Customer support is not customer-oriented and does not provide any information about where the delivery is or when it will arrive. The device is actually urgently needed for everyday family life. MediaMarkt is clearly showing here that customer needs are not the top priority. The ‘monopoly position’ is simply being exploited. The customer processes urgently need to be improved!”
