This is a wonderful service. Nurse Emmi is kind and professional, and the doctors come across as genuinely wanting to help. Nice I could get a mental healthcare plan without having to leave my home, nothing worse than having to make the effort and travel when your struggling mentally.

My daughter book an appt for a med cert for a cough (originally a dry cough), was offered anti-biotics, as she thought it would go away, she declined. She booked another appointment to get the Antibiotics weeks later as the cough changed to a green mucus and had a PCR test and was NOT viral. The doctor kept insisting it was post-viral (with no evidence of this & nil history of asthma) and would only offer steroids/asthma medication for the green phlegm infection with cough (4 weeks in duration for this cough). He then sent an email stating that the steroids are a suggestion, we didn't ring to waste money for a suggestion. Went to Pharmacist, they questioned such a random medication (Pulmicort) which they don't even have and suggested getting AB's and now have to book our family GP to go get AB's and pay all over again.

MedMate has been fantastic in assisting me with my weight loss journey. They follow-up regularly and make sure that things are progressing well with my treatment. When I had a hiatus in treatment due to unrelated health issues, they assisted with pausing medications and refunded payments I had already made.

I have been using the Medmate service for almost a year. I live in a regional area where it is almost impossible to get into your GP when you need to. The Medmate service has been absolutely invaluable to not only myself but friends also. Nurse Emmi, her nursing team, the doctors and admin staff are incredible. Highly professional, extremely knowledgeable and always supportive, helpful, friendly and easy to navigate. I highly recommend Medmate. They are an excellent service and we are extremely lucky to have access to it!

Such an easy process spoke with a lovely lady that helped me with understanding and completely Make me feel at ease and comfortable speaking about and I need the topic that I didn’t really want to speak to my GP about these guys are great comes in the mail very quickly after Your first consultation, You have everything covered for no additional Cost you have as many appointments as you like etc. When you are on a pension like myself that is amazing. Straight forward and easy to use. The telehealth doctor was friendly and supportive

I had a severe sinus infection which I tolerated for 2 weeks using standard ibuprofen but its wasnt going away. I could not get into my own GP clinic for 3-4 days. I contacted Medmate online and within 45-60 minutes a GP had called me asked a lot of questions and sms'd me a script for an antibiotic. I went straight to the chemist so within about 90 minutes I had taken medication. If I had waited for my GP to be available it would have taken a minimum of another 3 days. Very impressed, the consultation for the script cost me $20, plus I assume they get the medicare reimbursement, but $20 is a lot less than my GP would have charged me. I live in Adelaide. Very happy with Medmate and will definitely use again. Thankyou.
