I was recently offered to attended training at the Medsolve office in Chester for basic Life Support, breakaway techniques and Moving and handling. This is training that all of their staff have to undertake on a regular basis. As a training Coordinator for a Charity that support adults with learning disabilities, I understand first hand how difficult it can be to find good quality training for staff, particularly in person. However, this training ticked all of the boxes by being completely practical and leant into the strengths of staff working in the care industry. We were able to experience contextual role play to learn practical techniques that can be used in real life situations. The trainer had a good range of equipment that we were able to utilise and the session catered to staff with different abilities and previous experience. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the trainer, who was able to give us real life examples of when we may need to use this training.

Amazing company to work for. The training was really good and up to date and ensured that I was fully prepped for each different setting.

Kirsty and Amy in the office are amazing and could not be more helpful regarding shift cover. I had some good feedback from clients and they were quick to ensure this got back to me building confidence and promoting a healthy praise culture for good work done.

I was never without work and they made sure that the clients I was being sent to were matched to my skill set.

Overall I don’t have a bad word to say about the company or its staff. They may not be the highest paid of their competitors, but the environment they provide and relationship they have with workers and clients alike absolutely make up for it. I have worked for other agencies before and have mostly felt like another number whereas with Medsolve it was so much more personal.
