I lost a very important childhood photo of my husband and his mother, so I submitted a digital photo taken of the photo for restoration. I was hoping to make a negative situation even better; with a high quality restored photo that we could display.
I wish I was able to display the restored image, however I’ve never received a restored image.
I placed this order with a 24 hour turn around time upcharge. Photo was supposed to be delivered on Monday, June 26.
No photo, emails to support have been ignored.
I’ve filed a claim with Paypal.
Update:
They did respond to my email/send photo/etc AFTER I posted my original review.
They also disputed my original review, but everyone should know my expwriwnce!

**I did get a refund (mentioned at the end) it took over a month. Alot of back and fourth. I thank the founder for this, I did end up hearing back from him and he spoke with the Customer Service Team, which then sent the refund.
While in the end it was resolved, it shouldnt have taken all the effort and stress it did for me to get it done.
Customer service stayed friendly, but throughout the process I wasnt heard and it felt as if their responses were automated. Therefore my emails felt overlooked and my concerns not important. Even when it came to my photos being restored. Overall, I didnt find it to be worth the money or time, sadly.
Hopefully if you try this serivce, you find your experience to be better than mine.
----------
I ordered my photos around June 14, 2023. I sent multiples for review before purchasing to make sure that they could be restored.
They told me they could fix them "perfectly" so after speaking about what I was looking for and expecting and feeling reassured by them -- I spent $320!
When I got my grandfather's military photos back I was so disappointed. The pictures were everything I asked them NOT to do, not exaggerating.
So I requested revision, as they offer, and was told it'd be "24-72hours".
I have proof that they didnt make that timeframe. Which, by law, they should have to refund me due to that. 🤔
They also didn't respond to any of my messages for just over 4 days. Which was scary. The results of the pictures they sent created this doubt and concern, so when they stopped replying, I got worried.
When I finally got my revisions. They also were disappointing. Their site says things like: "love us or money back, guaranteed" "100% money back" all over it.
But when I requested one, they denied me and told me to request another revision (Apparently I have to do at least up to 5 revision before a refund)
Being they missed their deadline, I missed my personal deadline, their site creating a false image of capabilities, them LYING and saying they sent my revisions on time (remember tho, I have proof: I have the actual time they uploaded them for viewing thanks to Google) all the factors should qualify for a refund.
BUT IT GETS CRAZIER.
SO, again after emailing back and fourth and them basically saying the same "automated" responses, I said sure to a second revision- they accept & then .......
they tell me this,
"he (the head artist) determined that we cannot further improve the quality of the restoration" ...
......
okay? If you recall, I sent the pictures in prior and they told me they could "perfectly" before I purchased.
So I requested a refund once more and thanked them for their efforts.
This was their response:
"The restoration artist tried to work on the photo but explained that unfortunately the photo was too damaged to be restored further" & then this "I would love to make it right for you and am happy to offer you to send us a different photo in reply to this email and we will restore it instead"
To which I passed on, obviously, and requested a refund again...but still haven't heard back at this point.
I have no other photos I want done. I wanted those done. You changed his facial features, did exactly what I specifically asked not done, missed your timeframe, mislead me, don't respond to my emails (told me its bc of the holiday...it's June/July tho?), you lied about getting them to me on time, MEMORYCHERISH by SAPCOI LTD isn't capable of what their site claims.
I'm still trying to get this solved, well over a month later.
***EDIT
I did reach out the founder and received back an email that he will look into it and get back with me on Monday & we will get it sorted. So we will see. I'll update it come then.
****EDIT
Memorycherish has requested more information about my review. Sent them my order # and email.
Wanted to add the email I got on July 13th:
"As you may be aware, our Refund Policy clearly states that we will ensure that your order is delivered to your exact specifications. However, if we have spent all available resources and are still unable to improve the results, we will qualify the order for a refund."
Then what they sent July 21:
"Unfortunately, after over 5 hours of the artist trying everything possible to improve the results, he determined that we cannot further improve the quality of the restoration"
Asked for a refund. They replied that I could upload another photo. I asked again, and haven't heard back in 2 days.
Which is why I reached out to the founder instead. According to his words, I will hear from him today about the issue and we will see what he says then.
***EDIT
I did just receive a refund back. I haven't heard from the founder yet, but I am assuming he may have played a part.
Glad this situation is over.

I initially gave a lower review because I placed an order and never received it. I was contacted recently by the customer service team and they quickly resolved my issue. I was truly impressed and loved my dad’s picture. I also got the animation which I totally love.

While the color originally chosen was not accurate, the staff worked hard to correct the pictures to our satisfaction. Next time we will be more helpful to provide any information that may be helpful, rather than assuming that staff somehow knows what color the subject may have been!

MemoryCherish did an AMAZING restoration of an old 1943 image we have of a war hero. We have a picture of him that couldn’t be published in a book coming out because the resolution was not sharp enough, so we decided to send the image to MemoryCherish for restoration. Two days later, we received the finished product and we love it. They kept the vintage look and authenticity of the image while greatly increasing the resolution and sharpness. They also perfectly enhanced some of the facial features. Because of their outstanding work, his image can now be published.

I filled out the form for a photo restoration yesterday and submitted payment via PayPal who sent me a receipt at 12:37pm. I never got a confirmation from Cherish. I spoke to the chat agent several times and per her advice sent a note to customer support along with the transaction ID…no response. I again texted with chat agent who said she was escalating to support team…no response. My sister recently died. This was supposed to be something to help me/others through this difficult time. Instead, it has created a lot of stress. Please help.

Memory Cherish was a pleasure to work with. We chose to do everything via email. It was very easy to download our damaged photo and we received our repaired photo within two days. They sent us a link that brings up both photos for you to compare. If you're happy with the results, you can download them right there and have them to print at a later date, or you have the option for them to mail you the prints. We asked them to do something additional to the photo and they got it to us the next day. The restored photo looked great and I would say their response time is an A+!

The picture I sent in was very poor and they restored it, in color. The worked back and forth with me to get a few things just right for me and it happened very quickly, in a day or twos time. I highly reccommend this company for your treasured photograph restoration. Sincerely, Louise

Great quality of workmanship on many restoration projects, with detailed attention to my concerns. Plus shipment of large format prints arrived as promised and in excellent packaging. Hats off to the customer service team for their quick responses to my questions. Will definitely recommend and use this service again.

The pictures looked good on line but I dint like how gray the actual picture I received looked. The originals were not a dark gray. Also, maybe I should have been more clear but these photos I asked to be repaired were from the 1930’s and i wanted them to look like they did back then. They weren't borderless and one had a pretty border that was removed but when asked put back on. These photos were for my ancestry book and I didn't want them to look modern. I made a bad assumption that you would restore them to their original state as best as you could

Very pleased with the restoration process of a very old photo. Requested some special attention be done on certain blurred facial areas to clarify and better define. The artist did just that. Turnaround time was better than expected. The value for the end product was most reasonable. This was my second experience with Memory Cherish and based on the results I will be returning as a most satisfied customer.

This is the second order I have placed with Memory Cherish. They do such amazing work! I am really pleased! The photo I just sent in was restored within a few hours! They are extremely professional, and will work with you until you are 100% satisfied with the results of your photographs! I will continue to use Memory Cherish as needed for picture restoration, and drop their name all over town! Thank you very much!

I submitted a photo taken 25 years ago on a cruise ship. This photo was damaged from a basement flood. The artist really worked a miracle restoring my wife's right eye and the rest of entire photo. Thanks!

Everyone I got the chance to interact and work with at MemoryCherish was completely helpful and supportive, and incredibly patient with my many questions and follow up requests (and there were many!). The end product was even better than I could hope for. We are immediate and raving fans of MemoryCherish, and looking for the next opportunity to work with them.

Thank you ever so much. The blurred one by one photo I sent you is the only colored photo my daughter-in-law had of her father who passed away several years ago. She also has a few black and white snapshots but nothing of any clarity or quality. When she saw what you had done she spontaneously burst into tears of joy. I had the wallet sized printed for her to give to her relatives. You made her ecstatic and enabled us to share in her joy. Thank you, June
