It is good at capturing what the client is reporting but uploading the notes takes forever and I end up carrying unfinished work home because the notes are still not uploaded.

While I cannot claim that this software is perfect in every way, I am very happy with Mentalyc overall, and this new company is always growing and improving. The AI-assisted note taking has saved some time, yes, but more importantly to me, it has saved me a ton of energy and significantly reduced frustration around writing the types of notes, with many specific requirements, that insurance companies demand. I use the software for dictating summaries, rather than recording and transcribing full sessions, and the program still produces quality notes. The company has also been open to making improvements based on suggestions from customers, and has a strong commitment to protecting privacy. Moreover, unlike some other similar programs out there, Mentalyc does NOT share or sell data for training AI models outside of Mentalyc, and they do NOT, nor ever plan to (per communication I received directly in response to an inquiry I made about this), help with training AI programs to deliver therapy or therapeutic support, and these are things that are VERY important to me as a therapist. As much as I can trust any company in a Capitalistic culture, I trust Mentalyc, and appreciate the services they provide for note-writing assistance.

My notes are quick and easy. I slightly modify some notes and others I use just as they are. I now have my evening's back. I complete all my notes at lightening speed and I'm grateful. I would not be able to see over 20 clients a week without this platform.

I am amazed with the technology; not only what it can do now, but where I see that Mentalyc is going. Using Mentalyc supports me in going deeper with the clients I use it with. I have my own notes and impressions of what occurs during sessions with clients and now I have a window into what I might have missed. In the end it doesn't so much save me time but it deepens my relationship with my notes and expands my ability to serve my clients more thoroughly and consistently.

Mentalyc has been a game changer for me! The notes are clinical, secure, and specifically catered to the modalities and models I use (EFT, IFS, attachment, trauma, etc). The audio files are quickly uploaded and saved as whatever kind of note I need: progress, intake, etc. Using Mentalyc for telehealth is also easy and seamless. I’ve used the service over a year, and had very few hiccups in service.

One way I want the good folks at Mentalyc to improve the service is to dial in a treatment for OCD/ERP, which I do a lot of. If the AI they use could identify that as the main treatment I’m providing a client, that would be nice.

The price feels just right for the services it provides. It’s like having an unbiased third party taking notes of the session.

Soo easy to use! It has literally saved me hours of work. No issues. Clients also enjoy the overview it provides that I send them.

Mentalyc helps me mange my patient notes and client load saving time and increasing my productivity and patient care.

Utilizing Mentalyc cuts the time down I would be away from direct client care as well as allows me to have a more even revenue stream. I am a small business owner and Mentalyc allows me to spend more of my "non-billable" hours, actually NOT WORKING :)

It's been a game changer and allows me to Focus on the work I really want to do.

This technology has significantly eased the burden of documentation freeing me up to see more clients! My only constructive feedback is that customer service was not as helpful while I was learning how to use the service as I hoped. Overall, a reasonably consistent and accurate note taking system that needs only a quick proof.

Being able to take time off with doing notes and treatment plans and knowing that the system is doing its job in the background.

I have only great things to say about Mantalyc and their clinician centric approach. I rarely tweet a note and have participated in many forums to improve the delivery system which they have responded with positive changes. I would highly recommend this for any clinician. I have used them for over a year.

This has made doing notes incredibly easy. What used to take me hours throughout my week, now takes a fraction of the time, and I love using the different templates for my younger and couples clients!

Mentalyc has really helped me stay on top of charting and treatment plans (two areas I struggle with most) while I provide quality care and attention to each individual client in the moment - instead of worrying about remembering or taking notes!
