Really great website with very competent mentors

The platform offers a wide range of mentors that have experience in the field. This seems to be pretty unique as most mentor programmes have a generic mentor. For me it really helps to talk to someone who knows the field in great depth.

Finding a mentor and getting in contact is easy. Payment goes smoothly.

At the moment I have good experience with the current mentors, just only the third mentor did not give me the expectation I have. But I will need at least two more mentor to complete the team to help our Startup.

As a startup co-founder, I have faced numerous business and personal challenges over the years. While discussing difficult situations with friends and family, I found that many couldn't handle the ups and downs that come with such a venture. In fact, some relationships were strained due to jealousy and greed during successful periods.

In 2022, when faced with another tough spot, I decided to seek out a mentor to provide support. Initially, I reached out to many people proclaiming to be mentors on various websites, but received no response. I then changed my strategy and turned to mentorship platforms. That's when I discovered MentorCruise, which made it easy to find and chat with interesting mentors. With a trial period and the ability to cancel anytime, I decided to give it a try. Fortunately, my chosen mentor turned out to be a great match. He immediately understood my situation and has provided me with an external perspective on my rollercoaster journey.

If it hadn't worked out with my chosen mentor, I am confident that I could have found someone else on the platform. Joining MentorCruise was one of the most important steps in my career, helping me to grow both personally and professionally.

I got in contact with an excellent mentor. He was always quick to reply when I had a question and he offered challenges that I should be able to complete.

MentorCruise as a platform is there for me/mentors to remove all the hassle (marketing, promotion, scheduling, payments, communication with mentees), and let me do what I do best.

The support team was always available for any questions I had and responded quickly to all the issues I reported.

Without MentorCruise I would not have a chance to meet 30+ wonderful people and work with them.

I've used MentorCruise as both a Mentee and a Mentor over the past . I've had two mentors on myself there and have worked with over a dozen mentees. It's been a great experience for me on both fronts.

As a Mentee:
Being able to connect with highly experienced professionals in my field has been very helpful. Sometimes I just need a gut check on something, other times I've been navigating career changes and taking on new responsibilities where I needed some guidance on.

Over the last 2 years I've had two different mentors who I picked based on where I was in my career at the time. I'm currently searching for my next mentor on the platform. Even if you don't use MentorCruise, I recommend having a mentor or coach as part of your career plan. It's helped me tremendously.

As a Mentor:
The ability to give back and be compensated for your time is incredibly rewarding. Being a mentor requires a certain level of organization and attention. I've worked with mentees in a variety of different contexts: Helping them find and prepare for new jobs, understand if Product Management is an ideal role for them, built out projects and case studies for growing Product Designers, etc.

I have many mentees I've worked with for 6+ months, and MentorCruise has done a great job of facilitating that while getting out of the way and keeping me from having to worry about missed payments, expired cards, and marketing.

Mentorcruise.com is an amazing platform for both mentors and mentees. As someone who has used the platform from both sides, I can confidently say that my experience has been great. The platform has a diverse group of mentors from different fields, which makes it easy to find someone who can provide guidance in your area of interest.

I signed up with two different mentors, Rudy and Ahmed, and got great feedback from both of them. As a a decades-experienced developer I wanted some "younger input" on current platform trends and what was good to focus on career-wise (having just gotten laid off). I was on a "lite" plan with both of them but they were both very timely and forthcoming with info about industry trends, etc. It was also good to have a couple different points of view to be able to make wider decisions. As it turned out I got hired in my current skillset but the input was still quite valuable. I think either one of these guys, and other mentors, would take you through a more comprehensive path if you were on a bigger plan. No regrets!

I found a great mentor guiding me through the different problems I want to address. We meet regularly, discuss what I've done, and what my next options are, what I should read, and what's within the scope of possible for me, and where I'm leaning too far out of the window. It's super helpful

In my opinion, what makes Mentorcruise unique and different is the long-term big-picture nature of the relationship: rather than hands-on, look-at-this-code type of interactions, mentors and mentees can set longer-term goals and develop strategies to work towards them with lots of opporunity to touch in, check, and if necessary, change the approach.
