I ordered from this site to surprise my…

I ordered from this site from The Coffee Emporium - Hornsby to surprise my partner and explicitly stated multiple times in the order notes that the delivery must arrive at a specific time to ensure the surprise. But instead, it arrived 45 minutes late, after my partner had already left work. When they asked the delivery person why it was so late, they simply pointed to the note that said "3 PM" and rudely and disrespectfully responded.

After multiple emails and follow-ups, explaining the issue and requesting a proper resolution, all they offered me was a **partial credit**—not even a replacement for the ruined order, which ended up in the trash.

I will never forget this irresponsibility and rudeness. I will never forget how you ruined my carefully planned surprise with your carelessness and incompetence, and how you made zero effort to make up for it afterward.

I am angry and deeply dissatisfied because you caused me distress and completely ruined my surprise for my partner.

Tipping

Menulog was good at indicating that they can't provide realtime delivery info since the restaurant is doing their delivery in-house. However, it is not possible to add a tip after the order was delivered. How can one decide how much to tip the courier if the delivery hasn't even been done yet? My decision on the amount and even whether to tip or not depends on the delivery experience, and Menulog doesn't allow me to do so. Please consider introducing this feature, thereby matching what some competitors do.

Refusing to Refund an order I never got...

**Update**
Received refund, only after lodging a complaint via the Office of Fair Trading. Unbelievable.

Paid over $75 for a Menulog order that never showed up. No knock, no food, no contact – just a driver who got vaguely near my address, then disappeared.

I reported it straight away and asked for a refund. Instead, I got a rotating cast of “customer service” reps copy-pasting scripted responses and refusing to refund me – without giving a single reason or providing any delivery evidence.

Apparently, as long as the driver’s GPS shows they were somewhere in the vicinity, that counts as delivery. Wild.

Absolutely zero accountability. I won’t be using Menulog again.

Disgusted with this service- the Board and leadership team should be sacked

I can not believe there is such an operation and I got sucked into using them for my child's 10th birthday. I would not even give them 1-because a driver did not show up at the restaurant! 3 children do not get burgers, my son miss out on his meal... I even had to go pick up the food when the party was ending. And then when I complained, I get a fake AI message like this!!! More than disgusted with their Board and Senior Leadership Team who permit this type of behaviour. NEVER NEVER USE MENULOG....I Mdshah.R (Menulog AU)

Password Login issues!

I'm logged in, but when I go to submit my order it makes me log-in again, it won't accept my password, so I try re-setting it, and then the prompt never comes through, like multiple attempts and it just never comes through, where is it?!?!?! I get daily promo emails so I know you've got my email! But when I need it, it doesn't work?
