Really poor service from start to finish. We had no communication on the delivery day enabling us to track the delivery. The shed arrived damaged. Replacement offered but only after we have to keep the broken shed for 3 weeks until they will collect it and deliver a new one.

Absolutely awful service. I literally cannot believe how this company is in business and connected to a big name company like Robert Dyas. I was asked to send photos of my shed base, I sent images showing it was level, but told it didn’t meet their standards and some vague comment about it not being level or it could be because the base was not solid enough.

I thought i was speaking to a bot because when I asked for minimum tolerances or if the issue was due to the base not being solid, I was sent the same vague message again. I was then reassured I was not speaking to a bot, but no clarity was given.

I then tried to call the install team and gave up after 50 mins on hold. Spoke to Fiona in the CS team and was constantly told the signal was bad, even though I could hear her perfectly fine. Eventually, after the phone ‘disconnecting’ a bunch of times I gave up. Avoid.

Bad wood quality. The wood that was sent was badly cut. Once up gaps all around. Very flimsy everywhere. Complained and company said the gaps and poor quality of the cut wood that they sent was because of the kind of wood preserver I used !! Please don't use this company

Last minute cancellation

I’m not one to write reviews. However I ordered my shed in April for a May delivery.

Only to receive a text at 5:04pm the day before telling me the delivery has been cancelled and has been rescheduled for 8 days away. I tried to call but they had closed their phone lines at 5:00pm

I booked time off work so I could take my old shed apart and lay a proper base for the new shed.

I now have hundreds if not thousands of pounds worth of kit in the lawn ready to be rained on.

I think it’s appalling they couldn’t see ahead and give me more notice.

I know nothing about the quality of their products so it could be a decent shed. However the customer service and organisation is shockingly bad. I would avoid at all costs.

We’re absolutely delighted with this greenhouse combo shed—it’s a fantastic addition to our garden. The quality and overall design are excellent, and it looks great even without ordering the glass option. Assembly was straightforward thanks to the clear, well-written instructions; any small hiccups along the way were down to us rather than the product, and easily sorted with a bit of thought.

By using the excess roofing felt to cover the joint where the greenhouse connects to the shed, we were able to create a neat, waterproof finish. If we had one minor regret, it’s that we didn’t choose a slightly larger size, as the shed section feels a bit compact—but that’s more about our needs than the product itself.

Overall, we’re really pleased and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a practical and attractive greenhouse-shed combination.

One part of the roof missing and it’s taken a week for them to get back to me and now have to wait 7-10 days for the part to be delivered.

Shed fiddly in places to put together as some wood warped. Excellent experience with Neil the delivery driver. Friendly and great communication.

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I ordered a 7x5 apex summer house via Atlantic Trampolines, with delivery handled by MGP. When arranging delivery months in advance, I made it very clear that my property is a terrace with no front access. I was reassured that this wouldn’t be an issue and it was confirmed that the smallest vehicle would be arranged and that kerbside delivery could take place at the rear of the property.

Despite this, the delivery experience was completely unacceptable. The driver arrived, briefly stated he would remove the item from the van to take photos, and then left immediately, abandoning the delivery without assisting in moving it to the agreed location. This was done despite knowing I was expecting, was alone and had specifically arranged access requirements in advance.

Leaving a large and heavy item without assistance, contrary to what was promised, is not only unprofessional but extremely frustrating for the customer. The entire point of clarifying access beforehand was to avoid this situation.

The wood doesn’t look particularly good quality with many parts warped and lifting. And for £816 the “Two fixed Styrene glazed windows and a half glazed door” is a stretch, I’ve been given two pieces of lose scratched plastic and two doors with plastic inserts covered in wood paint splatter.

Wouldn’t recommend.

I bought this flat-pack pergola from Very/Mercia Garden Products and deeply regret it. As competent, experienced DIYers, we expected a straightforward build, but the quality was shockingly poor. The wood arrived soaking wet – water literally ran out of it and took days to dry. We foolishly didn’t return it in time.
Once dry, it became clear the timber was split, twisted, and warped. The support pieces were all different shapes and sizes, so they didn’t fit together properly. After hours of frustration, we got it up, but it’s still noticeably wonky and out of line despite our best efforts to fix it. It looks cheap and poorly made.
For context, this was still better than the shed/greenhouse combo we bought from the same company at the same time – which says everything.
Complete waste of money and time. Save yourself the hassle and build your own. I wish we had.

Delivery and the delivery driver were great - I have all the bits to put the summerhouse together..

Excellent service

Waited a couple of weeks for a delivery of a shed, stayed in all day to take delivery, received several stupid driver updates giving random delivery times ranging from around 4pm to after 10pm. Have raised a "ticket" on line no response received, cant find a contact telephone number to speak to a human being! Intend to cancel order and get refund, my recommendation don't use!!

We had a problem with what we had ordered, the quality was fine it was just caused by confusion with the retailer. Despite being under no obligation to do so Mercia agreed to swap out an incorrect panel for which we are most appreciative. Great service and a great company to deal with!

We bought the garden bar with shutters, the delivery driver was excellent, and did a fantastic job. But that's where it stops being fantastic, as the garden bar had lots of issues, the back panel was missing nails to keep the tongue and groove in place, so I had to screw lots of them down, the roof has more holes than Swiss cheese, the edge of the roof is damaged and chipped away, I've no idea how this will stay dry, I am going to have to modify the whole bar to try and make it watertight, and that's is before I paint it to protect it.
Overall I've just wasted £792 on crap. The instructions are OK, but it would make the job alot quicker and easier if all the pieces could be labelled , it was a complete jigsaw of madness. My recommendation is to stay clear of this bar with all it's issues and go and find another suitable company to purchase a decent product from, I just wish I had done that too.
