I have complete peace of mind knowing that my baby is snugly wrapped in the highest quality sleeping sack. The level of comfort and the soft, luxurious material make it exceptional. I love that these are soft and allow for temperature fluctuation - particularly useful while the temperature is in the ‘in between’ phase and should require different tog suits at different times of the night. They’re lovely and soft and baby can roll about in the cot, which he loves, while staying at the perfect temperature. Also love that the zip sits at the bottom rather than under the arm where it could be uncomfortable, and that there’s only no poppers on one side so the popper battle is halved.

Quick response via chat to answer my queries plus prompt delivery and good packaging. The items look gorgeous and soft. I bought for 3-6M for my granddaughter's upcoming winter months. Whilst the bodysuit looks quite a good size for 3-6M, the Cocooi Gown (which says 3-12M) looks a bit small and I wonder if it would be a bit tight on the upper body. As this is a gift, I will let her parents decide whether to keep it or not. But the quality of the 2 items is certainly well worth the money.

However, after I gave the Merino Kids All-In-One Button Through Bodysuit - Misty Rose a quick gentle hand wash (as I usually did for all baby clothings for my granddaughter) on 16/10/23, most edges now have loose ends. I reached out to Merino Kids about this issue, and their Wholesale Brands Manager Faye Langley came back to me promptly offering to send me a replacement after understanding the issue. I am happy that they took proactive and efficient steps to resolve the issue. I am yet to receive the replacement and will again do a pre-wear wash, only this time it will be a machine wash, to see if it happens again. Faye did assure me that “if for any reason this isn't in an acceptable condition after washing, please do get back in contact with us so we can help.”

I received the replacement on 19/10/23, and this is my email update to Faye on 23/10/23 after the machine wash:
"As per your clothing care link, I closed all buttons before putting in the washing machine for a wool/delicate cycle, setting the temperature to 30°C with no spin, and I used the same wool detergent I used last time. I gently squeezed the water out with a towel after the no spin wash. However, the result is the same as last time I handwashed it.
Here are the photos to prove my points:
1. Merino Kids Bodysuit – whole – this is the photo of the bodysuit after my hand wash last time, attached again this time for your comparison.
2. The 3 post-wash photos are from this time – except the sleeves (photo 2) which look alright, the two front collar and lapels (photo 1) and both feet hems (photo 3) all have frayed edges same as last time.
I don’t think replacement is the answer as this is a workmanship / quality issue. Maybe it should have been double hemmed and fray checked inside to stop the fraying. I don’t know as I am not the expert here, but I reckon you guys should look into this issue otherwise it will shorten the life of the garment."

On the whole, the customer service team at Merino Kids have been very understanding, efficient and helpful the first-time round, and their merino garments are really one of the best I’ve seen. Honestly, the garments are so soft and nice and feel warm, I only wish they have something in my size too. However, it seems that the edges of the garment will fray after hand or machine wash. This is something to consider as it worries me how long it will last. If I can overlook the fray edges after wash, then this is a good buy for my beautiful granddaughter’s first winter.

These pyjamas are great, really soft. Long in the waist which stops tummy getting cold at night. My little one sleeps really well in them.
