We sell and fit car, van and 4x4 tyres, as well as brakes, exhausts, batteries, MOT testing and servicing (MOT and servicing not available at all sites). Merityre in Hazlemere have always been…

Merityre in Hazlemere have always been very decent.
I recently had a freak situation where i had 3 flats in 3 weeks and they were super quick, very helpful and well priced.

I recently needed the receipts for this and the guy on the phone was incredibly helpful. Have been and will continue to go there for years.

Great customer service

Had two front tyres replaced and the tracking done at Merityre Andover. There was a slight issue with the work however it was efficiently and professionally resolved. Its how you deal with issues when they occur that makes a company worth visiting. Great customer service.

Attempted to defraud me out of two additional tyres

I arrived to Merityre Thame at the booked time to have my two back tyres replaced. I had to wait around two and a half hours to get the job done. The place was chaos, with inadequate parking and most other customers in the same boat. When I picked up the car, they explained that I should get the fronts done asap as they were on the legal limit of 1.6 mm, which they have recorded in writing to me on the invoice. Suspicious, I used a digital tyre depth gauge and measured them at 6mm. That has since been independently confirmed by another garage. In my opinion, they were lying about the tread depth in order to sell me two new tyres that I didn't need. A shocking operation.

What a difference a new Thame Branch Manager makes !!

What a difference a new branch manager makes !. I have used Merityre tyre (and when Chiltern tyres) for many years in Thame, Oxfordshire. Until recently I was seriously looking for an alternative. The lack of basic customer service and friendliness made my trips to their reception a poor experience. I am glad to say that has all changed for my recent visits (MOT / new tyres) and on those occasions I was dealt with by the new branch manager (Jak Delicate). What a difference his friendly, professional and customer service manner has been. An approach that was often sadly missing previously. Keep it up and I am happy to remain a customer.

Credit where credit's due

Credit where credit's due. I swore 3yrs ago that I would never go to merityre again after the experience I had with the then manager Sam leering all over me to the point my husband had to say something. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago I was on my way to see my dying father in hospital when I had a blow out, The AA said they could take me to Hazlemere which I was fully against, but after speaking to Shaun he sourced the tyre from another depot by the time we arrived. He also met us on the forecourt and completed the job (even though they were extremely busy) I don't believe myself and my 2 children would've got to say our goodbyes if it wasn't for the team at hazlemere. You truly have converted me back to a lifetime customer, you've made a day that was one of the worst for me and my family into a happy ending (my sons even tell people they went to a F1 garage) thank you for showing me that there are still helpful people in the world

Merityre in Hazlemere saved the day

Merityre in Hazlemere saved the day! Jacob at Hazlemere branch answered my slightly panicked call after discovering I had a flat tyre. It was late on a Friday, an hour before close and he was really friendly and helpful on the phone and offered for me to bring the car in straight away to be looked at, confirming he had the right tyres in stock and quoted me a range of prices based on what was in stock. I took the car in and he was very patient with my very basic car knowledge, measured all my treads, fitted the new tyres and solved a few other issues for me at the same time (at no extra cost). It really was service with a smile! He turned my potential disaster around within 45 minutes. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you so much Jacob, you made my day!

Scott and the team responded promptly…

Scott and the team responded promptly to my call at the Southfields branch. I had a flat tire, I called to see if they had the tire and they replaced it within an hour. Courteous and honest service.

Beware

Had my car serviced and tyres and brakes changed at a local garage. Front suspension arm was changed so I was told I must have the tracking checked. Took it to Merityre and left it with them for an hour. Came back to be told that they hadn’t been able to loosen the bolt and the garage that had carried out the work had broken it. I did speak to my mechanic and he assured me that it wasn’t an item that he would touch.
I work for one of the emergency services so booked it in the next day with them. They checked the tracking and said it was perfect. They did say that the bolt was a little scuffed, but not a problem to turn. They also said they hadn’t undone it as the tracking was straight. Also pointed out that Merityre should have checked the tracking before touching any bolts.
Not sure what to make of the situation. Was Merityre upset that someone else had done the tyres and brakes? Were they just being incompetent? I will never know…. But I certainly won’t go back and would urge anyone else - especially a woman - to be very cautious

Couldn't fault the service I received…

Couldn't fault the service I received at Basingstoke branch.
The Assistant Manager Phil was efficient and friendly
and sorted my tyre problem without a fuss and in good time.
The young mechanics were spot on too.

Chertsey branch.Steven the man in charge dealt very…

Steven the man in charge dealt very well with a difficult customer on the phone. Remained calm while juggling lots of plates and apologised to me even though there was no need. Puncture dealt with swiftly and free advice. Best tyre garage in the area by far.

Recently visited the Petersfield site…

Recently visited the Petersfield site as a low pressure sensor had shown up for the third time in recent weeks although reinflated. Spoke with Aaron on site very polite who removed the wheel only to discover a faulty valve which he replaced very swiftly. Thank you Aaron

Merityres Sunbury

All staff very professional, polite and with a smile. Reception guy very welcoming. First class Service. I will be using this location again.
Be good for customers coming in from the cold to see a coffee machine in the waiting area.

Excellent service from Merityre Southfields

Merityre Frimley Green - AMAZING

Merityre Frimley Green

Literally saved my bacon today. I had originally booked for another company to change a flat tyre on my car. However, during the day while I was teaching my lessons, they decided they weren’t able to come and I’d need to rebook. I phoned Merityre to see if they had any of my side tyres available and said to come down and they’d look at the car. I got down to them for 4:45pm and asked if there was any way they could fit a new tyre today and they were able to squeeze me in. Honestly would not have coped without their professionalism and confidence today. I needed my car for tomorrow as wouldn’t be able to get to work and back. They were so helpful and calm and listened to me rant about a competitor company who I won’t name. I am beyond impressed with their service. Would give more than 5* if I could. The staff were helpful and explained some extra info about my tyres and tracking. Really appreciate the support. Also offered me the card of a reliable mobile mechanic for any future issues. Absolutely class service and would highly recommend.

Great service - great value for money

Visited the Wallington branch today. Excellent service. Excellent value for money. My tyre was replaced immediately. Prices were better than other franchises in the area. Service impeccable. Will return.
