When we asked for our money back,
they wrote that they would not refund us.
Be careful and don't do business with them.

Your account was not blocked. It remains active with buyer access, and you can still use it to purchase offers on the Merkandi platform.
In fact, our records show that you have already viewed contact details of multiple wholesalers, which clearly indicates that your intention was not limited to selling, but also included interest in buying goods. The buyer functionality of your account is fully available and has never been restricted.
The reason your seller account was not approved is that the documents you submitted during verification did not meet the procedural and authenticity requirements set out in our Terms and Conditions. These requirements are mandatory for all sellers and are designed to protect the marketplace from fraud.
As stated in the Terms accepted before payment, the activation fee is non-refundable, even if the verification is unsuccessful. This rule applies equally to all users.
We treat this matter very seriously, as the statements published in your review are inaccurate and damaging to our reputation. We have already contacted you directly, requesting the removal of this misleading review.

Deceptive Platform and Fraudulent Practices – Avoid Merkandi at All Costs!
On 24 July 2025, I subscribed to Merkandi Ltd. to access suppliers for party products, only to discover that their platform had absolutely no suppliers in this category. Despite their claims of offering a wide range of wholesalers, the service was completely useless for my business needs. I immediately requested a refund on the same day, but Merkandi refused, citing an abusive no-refunded policy (§ 2.6) that they falsely claim I agreed to without delivering the promised service.
Their assertion that I accessed supplier data is an outright lie, as no such data existed for the party product category. This blatant misrepresentation, combined with their refusal to refund, constitutes fraudulent and deceptive practices. Merkandi’s platform is a scam, designed to lure businesses with false promises while enforcing unfair policies to avoid accountability.
I have filed complaints with the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), the European Consumer Centre (ECC) Romania, and the UK Trading Standards Service to investigate their misconduct. I am also pursuing legal action against Merkandi Ltd. to recover my money, seek compensatory damages, and hold them accountable for their fraudulent behavior, including all legal costs.
I strongly warn other businesses to steer clear of Merkandi. Their platform is misleading, their refund policy is predatory, and their customer service is non-existent. Save your time and money by choosing a reputable wholesale platform instead.

Paid for full-year B2B access – no real value, no refund, questionable practices
I paid for a one-year subscription on Merkandi.com on June 27, 2025, hoping to find reliable wholesale suppliers for my business. The experience was disappointing.
I contacted one seller who gave me a WhatsApp number but never replied. Another had very poor reviews, so I didn’t go ahead with the order. I wasn’t able to complete any transaction.
When I asked for a refund, their support refused, saying I had accessed seller contact details 77 times — which they claim constitutes “service usage.”
In reality, most suppliers were unresponsive or lacked credibility, and viewing their data didn’t result in any real benefit. Merkandi hides behind a rigid "no refund in any case" clause, regardless of service effectiveness.
I've escalated this to the EU ODR platform, as I believe their practices may be unfair from a business standpoint.
Also, take their Trustpilot score with caution. After my experience, it's hard to believe that all positive reviews are organic — some seem overly polished or promotional, which raises doubts.
I would not recommend this platform to serious buyers looking for legitimate B2B opportunities.

Since Merkandi does not participate in the transaction process, we have no insight into what may have followed after your direct communication with them — including whether or not a transaction ultimately took place.
Merkandi is a B2B wholesale trading platform, and the success of each transaction depends on the negotiation and agreement between both parties( buyer and the seller). As stated in our Terms and Conditions — which you accepted prior to purchasing — we provide access to verified supplier information but do not mediate or influence the sales process. The service was delivered as advertised and used extensively from your side.
Please note that it is the responsibility of each user to review and understand the Terms and Conditions prior to using our service. We understand your frustration, but the terms were clearly presented and accepted at the time of registration.
We acknowledge your intention to submit a formal complaint via the EU ODR platform. Should this happen, we are fully prepared to present detailed documentation showing that the services were provided, used, and functionally operational throughout the duration of your account.
