Excellent service. Speedy turn out which was much appreciated. Engineer was thorough and completed the job with aplomb. The use of a camera to see the problem is well worth it (rather than a DIY attempt with ramming rods up a drain/soil pipe without any idea). Recommended. Thanks!

Paid for a service and yes, the drain was emptied, however using a drainage extension to blast it through was about as good as it got.
The engineer, then put his camera through and I felt this was more for show, than anything else, especially as you couldn't see a thing on it.
The camera is supposed to be extended to the mains and backed up to see if the drain is appropriately clear, yet that wasn't done and the engineer was more interested in giving me a recommendation of a job that would cost me thousands to have a basic pipe taken out.
I still have the blockage!!!

After contacting the company with the issue, they came out really quickly. They were really friendly and helpful. Even though the issue was unable to be fixed, they were happy to provide a report for my insurance company and I didn’t pay anything other than a very small deposit. Messaged last night about a leak in our soil pipe, emailed back by 8:30am this morning, appointment made and they came, fixed the problem and were gone by midday. Explained that it was an issue with the type of plumbing used in our old house and said it was an easy fix if it became a recurring problem, and is going to send us a report with photos to refer to. Brilliant, can't speak highly enough of them.

Mersey Rod, were prompt and efficient, calling the same day- response to my email, within 2 hours on a Saturday.
Solved our blocked kitchen waste drain - took just under the hour. I had tried various methods without success. They also used a camera and explained their findings and sent a written report the next day (Sunday). Whilst it was flat £228 fee, I would use them again. If same issue arises within 2 weeks they will come back out at no charge

We needed a survey and report on a prospective house purchase where old records suggested built over sewer. Extensive utilities research didn’t provide accurate records of permissions or adaptations. MRod was friendly, timely, technically excellent and provided full report. Shows diversion of sewer around the building. Allows purchase to proceed, with confidence.
