Lovely experience from the beginning! We moved last year to our lovely new property, prices are super fair and honest compared to our previous experiences as tenants, the background process has been easy and stress-free, and now we have just been renewed the lease for the second year. We are extremely happy with the place we now live in, Siobhan, our property manager, is lovely, attentive and professional and we really appreciate immensely the service she provides to us as tenants. It’s not easy, with all the properties in our building only! Repairs come super quickly if needed (although this is the first time renting that we barely had issues and the property was handed over almost immaculate!) Thanks to Sabrena too who was our letting agent at the beginning, too. I highly recommend MetraLiving.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The service and care they show towards residents, security and repairs is abhorrent.
Any attempts at communication are fruitless. Your emails will be ignored and if you do manage to make contact on the phone you’ll usually be spoken to quite rudely and completely dismissed.
We’ve had issues in our building including all communal areas being publicly accessible resulting in;
- Thefts
- Homeless people sleeping in our stairwell
- damage to internal parts of the property
Metra has taken months (in some cases over a year) to acknowledge and fix these issues.
Avoid them at all costs. Choose to live somewhere that actually respects you as a tenant.
Also they are linked to L&Q - do your research and read reviews/news articles about them.

Gemma Bain was great! She worked around my work schedule and stayed behind even when I was running late to show me the property. She went out of her way to show me another property that was available too. She made the transition so easy and was ready to answer any questions.
Clare Green was amazing too! She answered all my questions when I was filling out the forms. She made the whole process quick and easy, even asked if I wanted to start my tenancy early. I cannot thank Clare enough for all her help and understanding with all my questions.

Been with L&Q living in East london for 5 years in 2015, they were very good although lacked some timely response on certain matters. Now with Metra Living, I have to say that Gemma really impressed us! Courteous letting agent we ever met, she managed to lock 2 viewings same day and we ended up making an offer for one! She has been so fast replying with document, present and professional that almost did not feel real. We’ve had an ongoing maintenance issue in our apartment we rent through metra, and Taylor Phillips has been absolutely phenomenal in helping us get it sorted. Taylor has been very helpful and reassuring. She has kept us updated at every step, often going out of her way to give us the information we needed.
Taylor has been incredibly professional, kind, and thorough, and it’s made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. Taylor tried to go above and beyond for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon, because it is making things difficult but regardless, Taylor’s support has been amazing and we are grateful for that.
Also shout out to Sara, Debbie and Harry who were also helpful on this ongoing maintenance issue.

We found an apartment we wanted to rent. The one we originally saw wasn’t exactly as needed but our contact in Metra Living found a similar one which was perfect. Once we agreed we’d like to rent it, we were connected with our Tenancy Coordinator Clare Green who ensured the process progressed and everything was in order. Once we were cleared and our tenancy confirmed we were then introduced to our ongoing contact. This has all bee a great service.

Jourdan from Metra Living took over as property manager at a really difficult time for Ethelred, and to his credit, he’s brought noticeable improvements since then. Communication has become clearer, and several long-standing issues have finally started seeing progress.
