Disclaimer: I must note that my opinion is somewhat partial, as this is not my first experience renting with MGY, and I continue to believe it is the best letting agency around.

Throughout the entire process, I have had the pleasure of working with Harry Fry, and I cannot commend him highly enough. His professionalism, clear communication, and genuine commitment to achieving the best outcome for both tenant and landlord have been exemplary. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that everything progressed smoothly, which made the experience considerably easier for me—something I truly appreciate.

Becky in particular and her colleagues at Cardiff Bay MGY were great. We gave them a key and they took care of all the viewings. There were quite a few viewings and it took a while to sell our property due to a couple of buyers not being able to proceed and having to relist the property. Becky always kept us up to date and gave feedback after every viewing. A great service and good value for the fee paid. Thank you Becky and Team.

We dealt primarily with Oliver in the Pontcanna branch and Kirstie to a lesser extent. We bought a property through them and also sold our home. The Pontcanna branch staff were courteous, professional and responsive. Sale and purchase were complex but everything aligned with imagination and endeavour from all. I can highly recommend the Pontcanna branch for house sales.

Becky, Oliver and Kirstie were very responsive and helpful throughout the transaction and handled the dressing of the apartment in order to assist with the marketability of the apartment, with minimal input from us, and to a positive conclusion. I have no complaints and would be happy to recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl (and occasionally Spencer) whilst sorting a commercial lease. Cheryl has a lot of experience, which made it easy to trust that things would be done properly and professionally. It wasn't a straight forward transaction (thanks to a storm blowing off more than a few roof tiles from the property!), but she made the process a lot less stressful thanks to her communication with both me and the landlords. It was great to have Spencer on hand too, when Cheryl wasn't available. Thank you both for your time and energy on this.

We had a very good experience with MGY specially Halle was very much approachable and tried to answer all the queries while we our visit to the property.
She even arranged extra visits during our process whenever we requested for it. She was really helpful and supported us throughout the process. I highly recommend MGY to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent.
The only suggestion that I have as a first time home owner is that the hand over of the key was very casual, I was expecting that moment to be bit more ceremonial but never mind may be its just me….

Was great to see Dawn again for our rental inspection this year. Dawn is thorough when reviewing the property and feeding back to our Landlord. Also very quick to file her report too. We even heard from our landlord a few hours after Dawns visit to discuss the minor repairs needed! And if Dawn says she's going to sort something out, it gets sorted out. A pleasure to deal with.

If I could add another star I would. Selling my late mother's leasehold flat had become a nightmare and we were at our wits end and looking for a third Estate Agents when my sister found the MGY Barry Branch almost by accident. I could write a glowing report just about all the hoped for agents' services alone that they provided - eg: excellent marketing, maintaining consistent contact with us - reporting potential interest, feedback on every visit etc etc but that was just the assured background to the truly professional expertise that Vicci Shires provided. The real work was how she kept the process moving once we had an offer. We were unfortunate with our very tardy solicitors (a separate part of the nightmare) and Vicci knowledgeably, diligently and appropriately kept everything in motion from both ends (I’ve no doubt our buyer is as grateful as we are) keeping us fully informed about when we needed to intervene. In addition to which she was also consistently supportive and reassuring. I shudder to think how much longer the process would have taken without her! We are forever grateful!

We rented a house through MGY Radyr office and both, myself and my husband, were really impressed with Sian Spiteri. She was very friendly and professional, answered all our questions and guided us through the process. Sian is an absolute pleasure to deal with. We dealth with another lady on the day we signed the contract, who was really lovely also. Our experience dealing with the maintenance department (apart from the emergency number who were really good) wasn't as positive. Upon reporting a leak, I received a call back saying there was no leak when the landlord used to live in this house (?!) and that was the end of it. Luckily it was an easy fix as the leak was caused by mold overgrowth inside the pipe that my husband managed to sort out himself, but I was surprised by the lack of care as an unresolved leak would be damaging to the landlord's property.
