I have ordered two rolls of wallpaper for my wife and I was so impressed by the quality of the product and the nice packaging. We have ordered Garden of Jaipur for the downstairs loo of our country house and I am so happy to discover this Transylvanian brand that really takes care of their quality. Recommended with all my heart!

Would not recomnend

I am a professional installer of over 25 years, and install thousands of rolls per year from numerous manufacturers. The paper definitely shrinks, as stated by many of the reviews on here. I have installed this paper on 5 separate jobs over the past 2 years and every single one of them the seams shrink. All walls are properly sized, temp, conditions, humidity everything is perfect, their paper just has a defect when it comes to the seams. They match up good, it hangs easy, and at first it’s great, but give it time and every single seam will shrink causing noticeable gaps. Very disappointing paper, could be great if they get their seam situation figured out. I would not recommend this product

Dreadful dreadful experience

Awful experience which reduced me to tears.

Having experienced issues cutting and matching the paper (which in all fairness the company did follow up my query in emails) it was never going to work as you can’t cut their lengths and reuse/match the patterns.

Mind the Gap know this and you will be stuck with half a job and a very bitter taste if you don’t buy 3 more drops from them!

My issue was delivery of information and attitude.

The company were right, me the customer, was wrong.

Why should ‘Mind the Gap’ solve my problem, when clearly what they supplied was correct. Why should ‘Mind the Gap’ be out of pocket, after all they’ve done nothing wrong.

I couldn’t get a word in edgeways.

I was informed that ‘our wallpaper comes in these lengths and we do not cut to order’ ‘you don’t need to cut our wallpaper, these are the lengths’ … many times.

And yet, I was sent an email telling me how to cut and pattern match!

Which is impossible, unless you want to join it each drop!

Wastage is immense. Both material and financial. So unless you’re hanging an entire drop. If you need to cut it and match like a standard wallpaper. DO NOT buy from this company their product, although beautiful, is not fit for purpose.

Attitude over the phone reduced a woman in her 60’s to tears. When I asked to speak with someone senior, a manager, I was told ‘I am the representative of this company’.
I asked if she (Diana) was an owner, again ‘I am the representative of this company’.

Talked over. Twisted my words. No desire to meet a customer half way to solve an issue which was causing upset.

Eventually, as I was getting very upset, I was offered a discount of 30% off retail price of £219.
On checking their website I found the paper was in their sale list at £175,
Once postage @ £13 was added (which on my original order was free) the discount was £9!

All in all a dreadful dreadful experience.

Please please read ALL reviews before making your purchase. I am not reviewing the quality, delivery or product to be poor, as it is beautiful paper.
However the customer service is inadequate, challenging and rude.

If anyone else has similar issues and the need to speak with the company, your experience may well reflect mine.

My review may help someone else to avoid my experience.

Very poor quality product

Very poor quality product. The lampshade, which is quite expensive, is not made of real woven fabric, but has only a printed decoration. After two weeks, it broke when I lightly touched it and it bumped slightly against the wall. The structure was so poorly designed that it was extremely fragile. There is no way to repair it. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Love the promised land wallpaper! Just hung it last night. It’s extremely durable as I had to take off the wall and reapply two rolls!! No tears or bending. Just wish you would sell individual rolls as I was short a 20cm by 8cm space. I couldn’t fathom buying a whole lot for that tiny piece. I got creative.

Terrible Trade account experience

As a trade account - I have now had significant delays twice trying to order from them. I ordered july 1, had to track down how to pay july 10.. and here we are 23 days from initial order date and it's still in Romania. I will never order from them again for my clients.
