2. Let our age-appropriate, sequential, inclusive music and movement program provide a nurturing and fun space for you and your child to make social connections, develop confidence and be free to fully self-express.

Class and teacher not engaging enough
Lovely teacher but there was too much talking and not enough engagement with the kids. They need consistency and speaking to the kids for long periods of time is not useful as they are still learning to process. Was not what we expected at all. Won't be returning.

At Mini Maestros, our program is carefully structured to support children’s learning, confidence, and understanding through music. Part of this includes short moments where teachers explain or model activities — this helps little ones know what to expect, build listening skills, and feel safe in the flow of the class. Our curriculum is based on 40+ years of research into how young children learn best through music, movement, turn-taking and language-rich interactions. 
We also encourage our teachers to bring their own warmth and personality to each lesson, while still following the same developmental sequence across all Mini Maestros classes. This means no two teachers look exactly the same in delivery, but the learning outcomes and structure remain consistent for children. 
We absolutely understand that every child — and every parent — has different expectations and learning styles. We’re sorry this experience didn’t meet yours, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective with us. Your feedback helps us continue supporting our teachers and refining how we communicate the purpose behind each part of the lesson.

Great introduction to music!
Lorella ran a fantastic class at Wyreena! She was patient and accommodating, letting the kids engage at whichever level they felt comfortable with. Each class had a mix of movement, singing and percussion instruments to help establish the basics. 30mins was just the right length of time for my busy 1.5 yr old! Great location too, a playground and cafe right next door was greatly appreciated

Very welcoming
Very welcoming and friendly staff that create a relaxed atmosphere. All children and their carers are well integrated and supported. My daughter enjoyed her time at Mini Maestros in Croydon, even though we were able to participate in only a few lessons. If we could, we would love to keep attending Mini Maestros :)

The teacher of this term doesn't communicate very well with toddlers, my son is not as engaged as he was last term and doesn't enjoy as much.

All our teachers follow the same program in classes and, therefore, do the same activities and focus on the same learning outcomes. Within this structure, each teacher brings their own style and musicality to the lessons.
Having swapped teachers and class venues this term, we would expect that your child would need a few weeks to get to know the new group of children, the new venue and the new teacher. It can take about 3 lessons for children to adjust to these types of changes. Sometimes it can take parents longer if they have been particularly attached to a previous teacher’s style or personality.
If you are finding your child isn’t as engaged as last term and would like to try classes with a different teacher to see if that will be a better fit, please reach out to us and we will be happy to organise this for you. 🎶🐝💕 Kind regards, Mini Maestros
What a wonderful program!
We have been attending Mini Maestros with Pip since term 1 2022. Pip is a fantastic instructor and my children just adore her. She knows how to engage with both children and parents.
I would recommend Mini Maestros to anyone who wants to introduce their children to music and join a supportive educational program. We've had a lot of fun in class over the last two years. My children have had the opportunity to discover the diverse world of music through instruments, songs, games and dance.

We wanted our daughter to explore and learn music from a young age, she showed interest and this class has extended her growth and creativity. We’re very happy with the class and I’m glad her poppa can take her, it’s valuable time for them to spend with each other.

Mini Maestros for mini people
Marie has a lovely gentle manner with the children and the class is certainly pitched at the right level for my little grandson. The activities are varied and don't go on for too long so little ones like mine, who have a very short attention span, don't have to concentrate on the one thing for too long.

Fantastic class!
Our experience with mini maestros has been fantastic. So engaging for the kids and age appropriate. Good length of time as well for little attention spans. Marie is a wonderful teacher and the kids love her - and pip before her was fantastic. The kids absorb so much and each week you can see them learning a little bit more or gaining a bit more confidence to join in.

Mini Maestro’s is Fantastic!!!
Great musical teachers, very interactive and great with the kids! The communication via emails is fantastic, the team members are quick to respond. We love mini maestros and I recommend parents to try the 3 class trial… ( other music/dance places offer a 1 class trial, however it take a couple of classes for some kids to come out of their shell).

This class is very relaxed with a comfortable vibe. The activities change relatively rapidly and the teacher gives clear instructions, keeping the class engaged. The instructor is careful to use all of the kids’ names which is really lovely, and there’s lots of repetition from week to week so they can get the hang of the actions.
