I’ve used MJ Kloss twice now and they’re great. Professional painters won’t get better. Did a full 5 bed house in 3 weeks.

Dean was an absolute gem. He was on time every day and cleaned up after himself, also had lovely chats!
Very down to earth company and felt totally happy leaving Dean in my house.

Everything that you would hope for really. Unobtrusive, respectful, artisan staff. Quality finish, realistic time frames, continual clean up, extra touches. Quality.

We had our back bedroom , landing,downstairs hall, and kitchen decorated. The decorators Darius and Radek were both really nice guys, turned up on time every day, worked hard and completed an excellent job!

I contacted the business to arrange a mist coat of new plaster after a botched job by the previous painters. The estimator called and requested pictures to be sent over WhatsApp. He messaged a fixed price of £4,777 (after a 10% discount). I requested a specification and he immediately countered with whether I agreed with the estimate.

£5K to paint diluted matt emulsion on 3 walls seems a tad expensive so I said I needed to understand the spec to decide if the fee was fair and reasonable. The response what that the price was for two top coats of paint! No sanding down involved.

It is best practice to lightly sand the surfaces before applying paint so that there is a key.

I only wanted the mist coat done so for me this business absolutely failed in basic listening skills and and estimating.

The decorator that I had was superb.He came on the day he was due and always came on time.His work was excellent , He always cleared up afterwards every day and made sure that everything was clean.He moved the furniture and replaced it afterwards. He was very willing and helpful.

The job was to paint the outside of a conservatory and to repair or replace rotten wood. The quotation process was quick and efficient. The quote was reasonable and clear. Communications were good. The painter arrived on time each day, was polite and efficient. A good job was done.

We asked Kloss to decorate a large loft room and two bathrooms. The whole process was very professional. The quote was very thorough and at a competitive level. Useful advice was given. The scheduling and organisation were very efficient. Peter Cardona who carried out the work did an excellent job and was extremely helpful throughout the process. Altogether, a very positive experience. I would use them again.

The 2nd time we've had work done by Kloss. The jobs were renovating a wall plinth in driveway, and painting a large side Crittall window at an awkward height. Daniel is a careful and considerate painter, going to extra trouble to make it neat & tidy afterwards.

Second time we have used MJ Kloss. Great result. Alan arrived same time every day, got on with the work calmly and methodically, kept us up to speed with progress. Very happy with result - would not hesitate to recommend.

Decorated entire one bedroom flat that was in pretty poor shape, especially some plaster work and previous papering. Turned up on time, patiently listened to what we wanted and read our copious notes! Got it straight away. Got on with job, finished in three days. Totally painless, totally professional. Thoroughly recommended and not an arm and a leg either. Very pleasant experience, nice guys and extremely pleased with the outcome.
