We want to thank everyone on the team who helped us purchase our home. Being first-time buyers it was daunting going into something with no real knowledge, but from the beginning, everything was explained to us in simple and easy terms without the pressure of choosing this company. Unfortunately, we have had 2 properties fall through, but however have been supported by the team. We couldn’t have expected anything more. Especially with an easy online portal, made life so much easier.

It took us a while to be experts using their portal, but the process is great and they're really responsive. They gave us contentious advice on a sale which ultimately fell through but they were in our corner, and they were proven right which saved us thousands, and we sold with their assistance.

Second time using them and another great experience.

We previous bought a house using MJP and when we have come to buy and sell we used them on both sides of the transaction.

Fantastic again, the level of responsiveness and use of the portal made it all so much more efficient when compared to others.

The main point of contact is their online portal, where all contacts and transactions are logged. If a phone discussion was needed, they would call back at the time requested. They dealt with all matters promptly and efficiently. Worth paying the extra over cheaper conveyancing options.

It is so easy to use MJP Conveyancing to buy or sell a property. They are the experts and support you every step of the way. The on line Portal is safe and secure and you can log into it 24/7. It is easy to upload documents and if it needs to be physically signed you just post it. Their prices are transparent, and if you have the misfortune of an abortive sale, you do not lose as much money as with a high street solicitor. I would recommend MJP Conveyancing to anyone considering buying or selling a property.

My partner and I are first time buyers and opted to use MJP as friends warned us you need a good solicitor, even if it means paying a few hundred extra in fees. MJP were recommended by the estate agent selling the house and had very good reviews, as well as being local.

I can say we absolutely made the right call.

Time was of the essence for us as part of the reason for buying was due to notice from our landlord to sell the apartment we were renting. We decided we had the funds for a purchase, even though it was a bit sooner than planned.

All contact has been via an online portal (though you can request a call). They have consistently been responsive and have ensured everything has been handled promptly, which has removed a lot of the stress out of this situation.

It was mostly Thomas who handled our case, but some other names include Christina and Megan.

I cannot rate MJP highly enough. You hear so many horror stories about solicitors slowing down a process, but MJP were so fast to process everything at each stage of the transaction. I will be using them again and I will be telling everyone I know to use them in the future. Thank you so much

Process was clear and easy. Work was completed quickly and I was kept well informed at every step. Exchange team were very thorough and I felt like MJP looked after my interests very well. The online / tech led nature of the service provided may not suit everyone so read their info well before you sign up. You will get different people dealing with your account but this means it is done by the right person at the right time and quickly, so it didn't bother me at all. Overall I couldn't fault the service and the value for money. Very impressed.

I can honestly say MJP were just the most impressive company to work with. They were efficient, very helpful and so incredibly knowledgeable. I wouldn’t want to use any other firm for conveyancing.

Extremely happy with MJP. By far the best conveyancer I have used. Quick to reply, reasonable costs and their online portal brings conveyancers to the 21st century. Staff were all polite, professional and knowledgeable and I had faith in the quality of their work. Didn’t have to chase as they were always on the ball.

We found the service very responsive and professional even when dealing with very difficult and uncommunicative buyers solicitors. Always call when requested and explained any queries I had. I have even recommended to family members.

I was originally unsure about this firm being online, but they did not disappoint! As a first time buyer, the process can be daunting but MJP ensured everything was seamless and that we had all the information we needed. They are very responsive and help push things along the other side. Prices were not extortionate either. Great service - couldn't recommend them enough.

I start my review by saying cheap is not always the best!

This company was recommended to me by a previous customer and they complimented how you were able to see all your documents, correspondence etc.. and this is something that was very useful and showed transparency but apart from this I feel that the service that I received from MJP Conveyancing was terrible!

From my initial communication with them I was very clear that my purchase would involve a Transfer of Equity, however this was never included and I ended up having to pay an extra fee for this service.

I had to continuously remind them that my purchase would be a simulated exchange and complete but not without receiving correspondence about paying the deposit etc… and me having to contact them to discuss this.

It’s lucky that I meticulously went through the documents that were sent from the sellers solicitors etc… as I had to tell MJP about things that they said were outstanding but clearly had been sent! Both the seller and I were keen to complete before Christmas and this was explained from the beginning but one of the solicitors was very rude in his correspondence to the sellers solicitor by saying “that they were being very ambitious about completing before Christmas”. His rude correspondence could have cost me the sale of this property.

I also had to pay for my searches to be extradited and the third party company that MJP used was taken longer than the actual local authority, again I felt that I was being conned out of money as if the searches were started when the third party was instructed then I might not have had to pay extra.

I found that there were too many people involved in my case and this caused a lot of confusion and when I complained about this, I was thankful that I got a positive response and my case was then handled by Kaitlyn Griffin who was fantastic and the final stages of my case was handled by Courtney Evans but she had to be reminded about the stimulated exchange and complete.

Overall the purchase of my property took 5 weeks but I don’t think MJP thought that it was possible themselves and that was reflected in how they handled my case and I had to constantly contact them etc…

I have found that it’s not always a good idea to go cheap. MJP had given the lowest quote out of the three solicitors that I requested a quote from but considering the upset, stress, confusion and additional costs it would have been better to have used a more professional solicitors.

Definitely won’t be recommending!!!!

MJP Conveyancing provided an excellent service throughout our purchase. The online portal tool is easy to navigate and provides total transparency in seeing solicitor communication. The team were incredibly responsive and we will definitely use them on our next sale and purchase.

My experience with MJP was extremely good. All costs were clearly listed upfront and their portal is easy to use, even for an elderly person. One is able to send messages on the journal or request a ring back, both of which were responded to pretty promptly. Documents from the sellers solicitor were uploaded on the documents tab so you could see what was going on and much useful general information was available. I would certainly recommend MJP Conveyancing and use them again myself if needed.
