We had a good experience with MJP for the purchase of our first property. Their online system is clunky and takes some time to get your head around, but it’s incredibly useful and transparent - all communications with the sellers are uploaded, as well as all the documents. MJP were very responsive via the online messaging system, and we hardly needed to talk to them on the phone at all. They also provided useful advice in their online documentation.

I am extremely pleased with my decision to choose MJP Conveyancing Ltd. as my solicitors. They were incredibly helpful and transparent throughout the entire process. Their system, which allows clients to view all interactions with other parties, as well as access documents and reports, significantly enhances communication. While it took a little time to get accustomed to, once familiar, it improved the quality of communication tenfold.

Remarkably, they managed to complete and exchange on my leasehold property in less than eight weeks, which is an impressive feat. It has been incredibly easy to track our progress online and five stars doesn’t even do justice to the level of responsiveness, efficiency and professionalism throughout. Our sale included staircasing of a shared ownership property as a simultaneous transaction which was dealt with seamlessly and MJP managed a difficult process (with far less professional solicitors elsewhere) incredibly well. I have already recommended to friends and will continue to do so!

The online platform used by MJP means that all information and documents are easily accessible, as well as providing a direct line in to the team. I was amazed by the speed of response whenever I raised a question on the portal, or asked for an update, and was also called within 30 minutes of requesting one.
The team were brilliant and managed to get my transaction to exchange in 9.5 weeks, in line with the timeline agreed from the outset.

Just completed another successful sale & purchase with MJP. We were once again delighted with the service and thoroughly recommend them. You do need to be a bit more hands on than with traditional solicitors but the ability to check daily on the progress and know exactly at what stage you are at is unrivalled. For cost and service I don't think MJP can be beaten.

We have recently exchanged on our first home using MJP, as first time buyers we found the portal very useful as it was very transparent showing us what was being said to the estate agents, sellers solicitors, etc.

You don’t deal with one person you deal with lots of different people for different areas however this worked for us as we felt it made the process more efficient. We still felt like we were getting supported. Any questions we asked were answered promptly and with good information which is so important as first time buyers
