I have used MJP for conveyancing multiple times now and I can honestly say that they are the best conveyancer that I have ever dealt with. I not only used them when I lived locally to them but also since I moved away. This is due to their online portal, which is fab and means they can handle clients in any location in the UK. The portal means that you can watch your conveyancing as it happens. Every time correspondence arrives from the other solicitor you can see it as soon it is uploaded. If there are questions from the counterpart solicitor, you can provide MJP with answers immediately if you wanted. This can make the whole process rapid. Gone are the old days of solicitor secretaries not passing you through on the phone when you have a query or having to make an appointment and go in to their office and see them. My current purchase was fairly complicated. Normally I wouldn't have seen a turnaround for a purchase such as this for 3 months plus minimum. Through their portal MJP have cut this time line by at least 1 month - this one taking just over 2 months from offer. Really impressive. They are also highly responsive, friendly and polite when you converse with them via their messaging system in the portal. From a legal standpoint, they are second to none in terms of making sure every legal avenue is explored and they do this quickly. I have seen MJP blossom over the years and I wish them well for future success.

MJP are very professional and highly responsive. They flagged issues and asked questions that even the seller's solicitors weren't aware of. They were clear in explaining every step of the process to me and were prompt to respond to all my queries. Their T&Cs state that they may take up to 3 working days to respond to queries, but in my experience it was typically less than 3 hours. I am a first time buyer not in a chain, but even so I have been impressed with how quickly the sale has gone through (less than 3 months). A++

If you want speed and efficiency then MJP are the best choice.they are super responsive and get the job done quickly.
You could go with a cheaper conveyancer and get a slow cheap service.
This is the second time using MJP and we cannot fault them.

I have no faults with my experience with MJP Conveyancing, I was initially worried when I got to this step of buying a house as I have heard lots of stories from family and friends about solicitors in general and how it can be a struggle of a process to get things done promptly,

However, to say MJP Conveyancing have been nothing short of fantastic would be an understatement, my house process has been so smooth, they have responded to me at every moment I have requested, if I did not understand something they were the first to help and explain things, their response levels are brilliant, every time I requested a call back I’d get a call bang on the time requested, very efficient service, prompt, effective communication and a company I would highly recommend to anyone looking for solicitors to get a house.
I’m not sure there is even 1 fault throughout this process, they have kept me in the loop at every given moment, explained what is required of me and what step they’re currently at.

Having everything online and responses within minutes was super helpful as first time buyers. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they took time to explain things we were not sure about. Callbacks usually happened within half an hour and the turn around time was as predicted- we complete today, 9 weeks after our offer got accepted. MJP Conveyancing handled our recent purchase. Their team were helpful and efficient and their online portal is great - it allows you to keep on top of progress without having to request updates. They were quick to respond to our questions, often replying within the hour, and took the time to explain anything we didn't understand.Their fees were very reasonable. Their quote wasn't the absolute cheapest I came across on comparison websites, but there were no hidden fees. I would use them again.

I was recommended MJP to sell my property by my fiancé who used them previously and I have to say I've not been disappointed! All members of staff are very professional but with a personal touch. They've been kind enough to do call backs in their lunch breaks due to the nature of my work. Any concerns ive had the team have alleviated them, explained them in simpler terms and have been very supportive in this stressful process. Its also good to know the upfront costs and starting the instructing is so quick and easy too. I've been so impressed my fiancé and I have used them in our purchase of our 1st home together as well. You'd be silly not to use them!! Will certainly recommend them to family and friends....and i have done in the interim

This is the 1st time we have used MJP to sell a property and 3rd time we have used MJP to buy a property.
They remain as efficient and professional as ever and we exchanged today ahead of completion next week. (Even though it was complicated by my helping my 86 year old technophobic mum under power of attorney).
The only advice I would add is watch the price - I actually got a better price via a comparison website than I was offered as a “return client” approaching the company direct x

Excellent from start to finish. Ive moved house a lot and this has been by far the best experience. Friendly,helpful,professional and great comms. Once I masterered the tech side of uploading documents and navigating the pages, I loved feeling in control and able to see all the documents to do with my sale and purchase-I knew where I was at all times. Cant recommend highly enough, thank you!

We have completed today on our flat, which we bought direct from our Landlord. MJP have been brilliant the whole way through; we found it hard to find a conveyancer that any of our friends recommended. It seemed a common theme that conveyancers always take ages to respond to anything. So we took a punt on MJP after seeing good reviews on this site. And how correct those reviews were. MJP often responded to our queries inside 30 minutes (where friends were talking about days or even weeks to get a response) and they were always friendly and incredibly diligent. In particular, Ben Pett seemed to be the one mostly working on our case and he was really amazing. Thanks to the whole team at MJP.
