I've been a Viking for 13 years and I've been wanting to leave for the last 4 years ever since the Deals ceased EVER working (not that they ever worked for big purchases like Booking etc.) while pumping my data all the same. I buy books monthly yet have received 6 points from ONE claim I placed (out of many claims) from ONE order from the fnac viking "deal" in the last year...all the while sharing my data, turning on my cookies, off my vpn, etc. I wrote emails about this, always the same useless replies. Companies don't care about "old"/loyal customers anymore, yet the cost of acquisition is enormous, isn't it? Makes no sense. Put more money in branding and in advertising, but don't try to solve any problems for your existing customers! Then, have a big meeting wonder why everyone is leaving, pay some more people to figure it out
The connexion is rarely good, same for my Viking friends and colleagues. You were so good in the beginning but stopped being competitive and when you doubled the data last month, I KNEW something was up before I ever heard about any new interesting offers. For the sake of convenience and loyalty I tend to stay where I am put (13 years!!!) but with the Deals no longer working and anything out of bundle being RIDICULOUSLY expensive, I am so glad I just changed my provider and can imagine many will do the same. Even if you had offered the same offers as your competitors now, I would leave all the same.

I recently moved abroad but regularly return to Belgium, so I switched to a prepaid plan. I bought 6GB of data, which then turns out to expire after 1 month, without a warning being given during the purchase process.

STAY AWAY!
Scheduled an appointment TWICE for home installation, confirmed by email, text message and phone. Each time nobody showed up without even letting us know.
Internally, communication is going terribly wrong.
So save yourself a lot of headache and choose another provider where you have to pay a little more, but also get better service. This is really an example of pay little and get nothing.
Double invoice amount charged. I have been waiting for my refund for almost 4 months. Everyone is dismissing/avoiding me and pretending that I should receive it soon. Later I call and it turns out that they need to create a "new ticket" and we will be in touch.
In addition, the Internet is regularly disconnected every week for several hours or whole day. Reason? Someone is working on it and we don't know how long it will take.
Nightmare.
I do not recommend it and avoid it like the plague.

It's been 1-2 weeks and we are still waiting from them just to get a date for them to install internet. They never allowed us to make any appointement, we even called them and they said that usually within 24 hours you are able to make that appointement... Well we are still waiting.
We arrive soon in our new appartement and because of them, we won't have internet for maybe the first 2 or 3 or 4 weeks, we don't know.
Do not go to mobile viking, except if you want to be without internet for a lot of time.

They were meant to install my home internet on Monday and no one showed up. Then I called on Monday and rescheduled for Thursday. At 11:42 on Tuesday I was told someone would come between 8am and 12:30, at which time I had informed the company no one would be home. I called again and was told that there was nothing they could do if no one was home on Tuesday and we would have to rebook the entire appointment for the following month. Totally unacceptable customer service. I have called multiple times, been told different accounts. I have been told my appointment was flagged as important and that they would absolutely come on Thursday. It is now Thursday and I have again stayed home for an installation that will likely not happen. I would not go with Mobile Vikings if you value straightforward communication and having your internet installed on an agreed upon date. If you like the stress of being spontaneously told that the internet provider will show up on a random date after you communicated that you’re not available, waiting months for a basic internet installation or told that the installers left because they did not have the right equipment with them then this is the company for you.
The internet and the service desk is really great, you get quick answers and friendly service. Some issues though: 1) their system with 'vikingpunten' does not seem to work, I am already waiting for months to get mine claimed. But maybe I was unlucky. 2) they are not available for people who are eligible for social benefits (the so called OMNIO statute) so if you happen to be one of them you will have to pay full fare. But maybe this will change in the future so best to check with them before you decide to take their home internet.
After one month I lost my whole bundle. It weeks that only data bundles expire after one month only. This is not made clear in the information in which they refer to the conditions of the advantage bundle. That bundle expires after 6 months
We are very happy cost quality. Streaming sometimes difficult.
