Xobiso was brilliant
Xobiso was brilliant. Really helpful with my enquiry.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Leased a car it went back early termination, as didn’t like the car & circumstances changed. It was in immaculate condition & only done 9000 miles in less than 3 years, 9000 miles under the agreement. Car never indicated service due. It had had 1 service They said there was a missing service & would not negotiate the inspection cost. Took them 2 months to let me know. Advised them to email me as out of the country for some time but they did not do this, just sent me a nasty text. Would never lease again & definitely never deal with Nissan again.
THE WORST COMPANY
THE WORST COMPANY. Do not work with them! I have been trying to transfer my battery lease for months, after giving all the relevant information they need they are still chasing me for money. Every-time i try to communicate it is someone different who has no idea what is going on! That is if i can even get hold of anyone! Save yourself months of stress
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Had a battery lease agreement asked for a settlement figure paid it same day yet they say there is an outstanding balance for a premium due following week. Customer services are in South Africa refuse to give managers names or emails.
Do not use this company !
Zero Stars- 2 year old reading skills
I had an Audi and finance through these guys. Did the normal thing and got a new car. Different finance company, settlement paid to mobile. Unfortunately they don't seem to be able to mobile their fingers to do basic admin. Chasing me for a payment after I sold the car and trying to get another on from me at the end of this month. Even though I am no longer the registered keeper of the previous car and they have been paid through the new finance company. Guy on the phone tried to argue it, unknown to him I am legal counsel for a corporate company. If you like attempted daylight robbery then go with these guys, however if you like a finance company that can read stay well clear of mobilize.
Booked lease car in for MOT&Service via…
Booked lease car in for MOT&Service via their link to fleet assistance. Arrived at garage - drove away in courtesy car. Received a call an hour later to state that Mobilize wouldn’t authorise the MOT or Service. Called Mobilize - after being pushed from pillar to post finally spoke to someone. She couldn’t help immediately but managed to get authorisation for the MOT. Was too late for garage to carry out so had to return courtesy car and wait for it to be rebooked. Mobilize rebooked it themselves for the following week but wouldn’t authorise the service - no explanation given. Took car in today - garage had received authorisation to proceed which they did. They then received a note from mobilise stating not to proceed! They’d already completed it and fixed a minor problem. Mobilize then refused to pay! Called them - got put through to Fleet Assist who have nothing to do with authorisation! They claimed that I was over contractual mileage even tho I increased my mileage allowance! Have had no response to my formal complaint following the previous weeks debacle! Currently out of pocket £450 because of their mistake! Cowboys! Will be contacting ombudsman at earliest opportunity
Great Customer Service!
Very concerned after reading reviews. I’m selling my car, so needed proof that there is no outstanding finance on my Zoe battery.
I phoned early and got through straight away. I received excellent customer service, with her being polite and pleasant, and she emailed the document straight away.
Unfortunately my phone didn’t show this, so she offered to phone back when I got home, a couple of hours later, to check that it was received and that everything was alright. Pleased to say that she did phone back, and at the time that she said that she would.
The whole experience was excellent!
Terrible company !!Please avoid !!
From the beginning it had been difficult to actually speak with someone. The automated line advises someone will call back but never does or doesn’t ring long enough to answer. Calls constantly drop out no callback. Handed my car back and it took a month to hear anything back from them. Impossible to dispute any charges as no one is available to speak and just keeps passing you over to someone else. Terrible company I wouldn’t reccommenr anyone to use
COMMUNICATIONS AND PROCEDURES SEVERELY LACKING
Ordered Renault Rafale for leade in Oct 25 for Mar 12 26 delivery. Leasing company great throughout, fourth time using them. Submitted financial data, approved by Mobilize in Oct 25 and agreements all electronically signed and approved. Asked at the end of Feb for consent access to accounts, no problem I thought until the questions came in asking for references for income because it was a joint account. I gave them the information when accent to accounts was given in Oct and for info the account was even healthier. I also pointed out the same joint account was approved by Mobilize for my existing Renault Austral being replaced by the Rafale and all payments made in full and ontime. Their collection company Mannheim are as much use as a chocolate teapot wanting to collect my Austral 5 days after del of Rafale. I went to look at Jaecoo PCP at the weekend and could have approval in 3 working days. Seriously considering telling Mobilize where to stick the new car if del date affected. Avoid this company at all costs.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service! I had to do the chasing to find out what was going on. They do not notify you of anything and when they call the operators sound like a scammer trying to get my details.
I've have found myself needing to repeat myself multiple times to the person on the phone because they can't understand me and I can't understand what they are saying over 1/2 of the time!
Awful, Incopetent and Rubbish. Steer well clear
So, got a settlement balance and traded my car in for another. Dealer paid the finance but mobilize rejected the payment. I then ended up paying another months interest + payment.
The dealer sold my old car, only to find there was still a HPI marker. Had to get another settlement balance. They paid and yet they still did not confirm the account closure.
After 7 calls in 8 days (giving the same security info each time), on the last call they told me my details were incorrect. They had asked for the DD figure which I told them and they told me that was not the last payment. Well, it wouldnt be would it ?
These guys are totally, utterly useless. Cannot clear an account in a timely fashion which you need when buying another car. It is definitely the worst experience in over 40 years of financing cars.
Changed the settlement figure when it came to sell the car
I got a dacia sandero in December 2023. Due to circumstances changing, I ended up with a company car and I no longer needed my dacia as I had 2 cars. I knew I was in a deficit and I would have to pay a dealership the difference in what the car was worth vs the settlement figure. I was completely fine with this as I wanted the car sold and gone. I obtained a settlement figure through the online portal of £10,333.03 but I needed it in writing to sell my car. I called the company and was asked if I would like to remove my service plan for the future (they asked me I had no idea this was an option) I said yes and they sent me in WRITING a settlement figure of the £10333. I got all my documents together and went to the dealership to sell my car. All I needed was to speak to someone at mobilize just so they could confirm it was me who owned the agreement and the settlement figure was correct. All of a sudden at the dealership they claimed the settlement figure was incorrect and it was more than they told me. I literally had it in writing and phone confirmation from them. The person on the phone was absolutely useless and could not explain why. They said its impossible to remove the service plan but couldnt explain why they did do that and why I received the settlement figure. She refused to transfer us to a manager for an hour and I could not get a straight answer or explanation for anything. Once I got through to a manager they said that you can in fact remove the service plan (which the person before said absolutely cannot happen) but that you would have to pay the monthly payments for a service plan for a car you dont even own. Why do their staff not know the correct policy? Why would mobilize offer me the option to cancel the service plan and get a settlement figure and not explain that it would be a monthly payment or anything like that. It was just complete incompetence and I ended up spending 2 hours at the dealership trying to sort it all out. The sales representatives at the dealership were also confused and couldnt believe how badly it had been handled. Maybe in the future train your staff properly and dont try to blame customers for your own mistakes that are in writing
Awful company
Awful company. Tried to get me into paying more money than I owed and never provided receipts for any money I paid in. I was on hold for 30 minutes each time and the outcome was always, we will call you back. Useless company, if any car dealer uses these to finance their cars I am NEVER buying it.
I have never experienced such poor…
I have never experienced such poor administration, slow communication, and complete lack of accountability from a finance company.
I voluntarily terminated my PCP agreement correctly and lawfully in April 2025. The account was settled, closed, and showed a zero balance on my credit file for months. Then out of nowhere, (beginning of January) Nissan Mobilize Finance reopened the account and reported a completely imaginary debt due to their own internal administrative error.
After multiple stressful calls, I was eventually told that an excess mileage charge had been applied twice. Even after this was acknowledged, they continued to claim a balance was outstanding when it was not. Despite having paid the agreed final amount promptly in July, my account was reopened on my credit file with no warning, damaging my credit profile and causing unnecessary stress.
What makes this worse is the communication. If you email the Voluntary Termination team, you wait around a week for a response each time. One week to ask a question, another week to get a vague reply, then another week when you respond. Try to call them? At least 30 mins on hold to then be cut off. This is completely unacceptable when dealing with credit file errors.
After almost a week of silence, I was finally told the issue had been “sorted” and offered £50 as a goodwill gesture. I was later told this was actioned on 12 January when I queried it. The money has still not been received. When I replied to ask where it was, I was asked “have you received it yet?” - and now I’m clearly facing yet another week-long wait for a response. £50 is not enough for the amount of time and stress this has caused.
Even now, despite being told everything is resolved, my credit file still shows the incorrect debt. So nothing has actually been fixed.
At this point, it looks like I will have no option but to escalate this to the Financial Ombudsman Service, because Nissan Mobilize Finance seem incapable of correcting their own errors in a reasonable timeframe.
Mistakes happen - but reopening closed accounts, reporting incorrect debt, dragging out communication for weeks at a time, and then failing to follow through on promised resolutions is not acceptable for a regulated finance company. I will not be giving up and if no further contact and resolution is received by Wednesday the 4th I will be filing complaints with the Ombudsman.
If you’re considering Mobilize Finance, be warned: if anything goes wrong, expect slow responses, repeated errors, and a process that puts all the burden back on you to fix their mistakes.
1 star is already too much for this…
1 star is already too much for this company.
I returned the car in January 2025 after their call and after negotiating and agreeing on the final charges. One year later, in January 2026, they sent me an annual statement saying I still owe the remaining amount — completely ignoring our agreement.
This was not an isolated incident; I had multiple negative experiences throughout our collaboration.
I would never buy a car through a finance company again and strongly advise others to be cautious.
Absolute horror of a company
Absolute horror of a company. Car returned in November 2025. Have never received an inspection report. Just received a settlement figure for 4 figures (inc over £500 to a replace a carpet which had a hole in it to start with). Car is over 9 years old and over 101,000 miles. Further, received a road fund licence bill 8 weeks after handing it over. Complaint to financial ombudsman being drafted.
Awful awful awful!!! Avoid at all costs
Awful awful awful!!!
Requested a settlement figure to return my car and paid this figure promptly on 10th November. A week later received a demand for a settlement figure twice as high as what i had paid. Called and was advuised this was a mistake. Had to chase to get car collected which was eventually done in early December and am now receiving texts and calls fopr arrears on a car i no longer own!!!! Told i need to hold on calls so they can investigate!! I have better things to do than wait whilst you figure out your mess!! A complaint to the financial ombudsman is pending!!
Appalling experience from start to…
Appalling experience from start to finish. After a major mechanical failure, responsibility was repeatedly denied and I was passed between the dealer and finance company for months. Communication was poor, promises were not followed up, and I was left without a usable vehicle while continuing to pay. The matter was only resolved after escalation to the Financial Ombudsman, who ruled in my favour and awarded compensation. Entirely unacceptable handling of a legitimate complaint.
Dishonest, liars……. Avoid
Leased a Nissan for 4 years, returned car, the car had 4 full services and was returned with under 32,000 miles on the clock. Service book with stamps and all invoices for full services, mot and new tyres, included in service book when returning the car. Now they are stating there are no stamps in the service book! I never took a copy of the book with the stamps as didn’t realise they would blatantly lie. I will now obtain duplicate paperwork from the garages to prove they are being dishonest and that the services did take place. When returning your lease vehicle, ensure you take a copy of any paperwork and also take a picture of your service book stamps. Dishonest company and will be escalating to the ombudsman.
Abysmal in every way, borderline scam
