We are very happy with the whole experience from Modsy! Our designer met with us, listened to our desires for the space, and created beautiful designs for our family room. We are very happy with the designs we received - it helped us imagine the space in an entirely new way with new furnishings. We have already ordered some of the items in the design, and plan to order more as we go!

My Designer, Amelia J, did an awesome job. She did 2 of the rooms in my house. I hired a professional designer for $150/hr and the Modsy designer did a better job in a more timely manner

I was referred to your site by a friend who had a great experience. I, on the other hand, was disappointed. I had a small office that I wanted ideas on. I went through all the steps and questions, commented as to exactly what I was looking for. When I initially met with the consultant I was confused that the furniture was just taken from the ideas that were supposed to be examples or ideas of what my style is. The layout recommended was good but I felt that they were just trying to sell me furniture instead of listening to what I wanted.

I submitted a room view of the living room in our small beach house. I have not updated the layout of furniture in over 20 years, at that time a family of 5. As we’ve added spouses and grandchildren, and ages now span 6 to 69 during the summer season, the existing plan doesn’t work. I need to add more seating, storage, a play area - all in a room with 3 separate traffic flow paths, a fireplace, 2 doors, and an archway.

The layouts Missi created for me are wonderful and make great use of the space. There are two conversational areas, one of which incorporates a small table with both chairs and a corner seating bench with storage.

She sent two different furniture/style/color designs, and then incorporated some requested changes for a total of 4 looks to choose from. Missi absolutely nailed the look and feel I’m drawn towards - both a very new mood for the space and an updated approach to the current style.

I was hesitant to use a designer at all, primarily because my one previous attempt (NOT with Modsy) was a nightmare clash between the designer and myself. She was only able to express her own personality and preferences in the design of the space, and despite polite feedback, unable to develop plans which reflected me and my family’s tastes.

With Missi it was entirely pleasant. We never met in person, she never saw the space IRL. Yet she was able to create rooms that immediately felt right for us. I highly recommend this service and hope you’re fortunate to work with Missi.

Now the fun for me begins - actually making the choices and purchases that will bring so much added joy and comfort to the place we all love more than any other.

Our designer was terrific and very helpful with creating new ideas and color combinations. She was also very responsive with e-mails. The only downside was trouble with connecting on a scheduled video conference. But for this issue this would have been a five-star rating.

Got great designs and happy with how easy working with my design was. But the objects to buy are way over priced and I will be looking elsewhere for everything.

We have had a wonderful experience with our designer! She has been thorough, patient, and extraordinarily creative. We absolutely and highly recommend Modsy!

Quick turn around. Design reflected my style perfectly. I didn’t purchase any pieces from Modsy but used the exact styles and colors suggested and found close matches. I was able to find the exact area rug suggested in my design for $142 cheaper than the Modsy price. I also found very close matches on the end tables and other decor for hundreds of dollars cheaper elsewhere. I am in the process of designing another room with Modsy. If you are on the fence don’t hesitate. My experience was great and my designer did several revisions for me.

My Modsy experience far exceeded my expectations. I needed designs ASAP for a living room, bedroom and dining area for TWO apartments (added expedited delivery). I placed my multi room order on Monday. On Tuesday I was paired with a designer (Hayley) very soon after I finished the style design quiz and submitted images of the room. And by Friday, Hayley had produced completed designs of every space that I was legitimately blown away with! Not to mention, from start to finish I experienced crazy hospitable and highly responsive customer service! I cannot recommend enough.

Although I paid for a premium deluxe package, Modsy refused to complete a finished design. Sounds ludicrous, right? Well, my master bedroom has a teeny tiny enclave and Modsy insisted it was a “separate room”. What was in this space you may ask? One desk and chair. Yes, you read that right! ONE, just ONE student desk and chair! Since the desk is located in an enclave, they called it a separate room and demanded I pay for an entire extra room. What?!? How is ONE desk considered an extra room? And the best part….Angelica very brightly and cheerfully replied in her email ‘Contact us anytime! We are here to help!’ Ha! What a joke! They are certainly willing to HELP take your money. Twice. Might as well just give them your whole wallet as a matter of fact. Also, they refuse to proceed until I redo all my videos and pictures. Not only do they want to rip me off but now have failed in their promise to provide designs within a week. Go somewhere else. You’ll be much happier.

Katie is a great designer who cares about my concerns and what furniture that my husband and I already had in mind, and it took only a week for us to get the designs of my 3 rooms as well as suggestions for the furniture. I'm very satisfied with the service.
