Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT GET AN ACCOUNT AND DEFINITELY DO NOT GIVE THEM PAYMENT INFO. It is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel an account, I’ve literally tried everything. Even when I finally reached what seemed to be an actual person they refused to cancel the account. This is a total scam, avoid at all costs (or it will cost you!!!)

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Can’t get anyone to actually help. They all send the same thing that you can easily find online with a simple search. I am reaching out to them because they are the experts and yet they send me results I found on my own that do not help my specific case. Which is why I am reaching out to them. After I explained in detail that none of the FAQs are what I need help with, they all stopped helping me further. It’s as if they’re all getting their answers from the FAQs section. Had to make a Twitter account just to receive more FAQs lol as if that’s the only answer they’re allowed to give anyone. Are they all bots with the same answer?

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. The website password reset doesn't seem to be working, and after some correspondence with a rep (bot?) who only provided canned, unhelpful responses, they closed my ticket without resolving my issue, at which point I could no longer correspond with the rep. So I had to start over with a new ticket and I guess we will see if the new rep is any more helpful.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

worst support of any business/video game ive ever experienced. sent over 7 emails trying to get an issue resolved and they wouldn’t help and some workers would randomly stop responding and I would have to re contact a new worker. absolutely HORRIBLE. I had to eventually buy another account as mojang wouldnt help.

None existent support function.

I gave 1 star because I can’t give less. Their support function is none existent. You can only submit emails. I waited 2 weeks for a response and was emailed with something I Googled and tried myself, it didn’t work, before I even contracted them. I don’t suppose they will be following up to see if their ‘help’ resolved my issue.

BE AWARE that if you cant access old email

I have changed email and they want me to provide the receipt of proof of that i brought the game and how can i get it if i dont have access to the email where i got the confirmation that i brought the game, so only two options i have is to buy new copy of the game or just stop playing minecraft. SO BE AWARE if you lose or change your email that you cant change your email on your account if you dont have a digital copy of the game purchase on like g2a or cdkeys or such, i cant recomend Mojang and minecraft because of this

Stunningly bad "support"...

Just to add to the chorus of disapproval over total lack of customer service...

Purchased Minecraft Java 20/12/20 - downloaded, worked fine, no issues.

For no apparent reason, saved credentials no longer allow access to the game from the launcher, as of 02/02/21.

Emailed Mojang - stock "sort it out yourself" auto-reply received....

Replied to this explaining (again) what had occurred.. zero response, despite including all the relevant purchase ID and token details in the initial email, and then again in the reply to the autogenerated response.

This is perhaps the worst "support" I have experienced from any company... I am well aware of the self help documentation, but if any of that worked, I wouldn't be contacting, would I? I appreciate that they have to plough through lots of correspondence, and I dare say, perhaps some unwarranted nonsense too, but ignoring everyone seems like a poor way to conduct a business.

Buy from Mojang if you simply can't wait for the amalgamation with Microsoft, who have superior customer service in comparison, but, be warned, if you need any help (which is not as unlikely as you may think, given that this issue seems to be an entirely account related issue) you will simply be ignored. Very, very poor.

Appalling company

Be aware that Mojang has no customer service at all. Their automated service is a bloody joke! I've bought my son Minecraft Java Edition and after a year the game has been removed from his account. I have tried to report this issue to them countless times, to no avail. They were very eager to collect my money £17.99 but in terms of recurring business, I'll rather give my hard earned cash to a hobo instead. I'll never buy a mojang product ever again!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Cannot access account at all

Cannot access account at all. Possibly been hacked so I’ve raised a ticket and no response apart from an automated email with links to their online help which are useless.
For a global company and a service I pay for I expect some kind of service!

They locked my Minecraft account that I have had since 2011. Support are rude and refuse to unlock it unless I provide the original voucher code I used to buy the game. Who would still have a used code 9 years later??!!

The worst customer support I've ever…

The worst customer support I've ever dealt with

I am going out of my way to write this review after being completely disregarded about my Minecraft accounts. Mojang is the worst customer support in the gaming industry by far. You're extremely to get a reply after 2-3 months, and even lucky to get one at all.

I've been locked out of one of my minecraft accounts for 2-3 years now, no reply when I sent a support ticket. I've sent about 10 over the years now in reference to that account. Most recently was about 3 weeks ago which I've also sent a ticket in about also. All of the tickets completely ignored.

After being a pretty loyal Mojang supporter since 2011, buying minecraft for my kids, 2 accounts for myself, pocket editions, and subscriptions to realms I will probably never give a dime to mojang ever again. Wait until the merger with microsoft so you don't have to deal with their trash customer service.
