In summer of 2022, I was contacted by Morgan Sindall in regards to the insulation of my walls and windows in my property. After a visit from 2 surveyors and the resident liaison I was told work would commence within the next month (March 23). After 5 months of no contact, I have now been told that works can not be carried out on the property due to issues with the window frames. I have now been pushed back to the start of the process and told that the works will not be done until the summer of 2024 at the earliest.
I am a disabled woman who has been made to feel helpless by the lengthy and inconsistent process over the past year. In addition, the people I have spoken to over the phone have been incredibly insincere, dismissive and unhelpful.
The customer service, length of process and lack of correspondence during this period has left me feeling distressed.

I pay my service charge to the council who are the freeholders of my flat in Waltham Forest. The council has contracted Morgan sindall as their maintence company.
Over 18 months ago, I reported that water was coming through an electrical fitting in my living room whenever it rained. Despite this being over a year ago and there being multiple photos and videos of the damage and impact of this leak from the roof, nothing has happened and the problem is ongoing and worse than ever. I have been on maternity leave so have had time to actually call them repeatedly, however despite spending many hours of my life on hold trying to contact them, no one has been able to give me a timeline of when this serious maintenance issue will be fixed. Each person I speak to seems to have no record of previous conversations and refuses to put me through to a supervisor when they themselves cannot provide any helpful details on the case. They tell me they will ring back but never do. I think this company actually needs to be investigated by panorama or some kind of watchdog as they are simply refusing to do the work the council are contracting them to do, leaving residents and home owners with dangerous and stressful issues with their accommodation. Awful and seemingly getting away with it.

Emergency appointment, original contractor didn't turn up. Second contractor Steve came out and tried to fix but didn't have the part as was late evening. He came back first thing this morning to sort out before I went to work. Can't thank him enough, so helpful.

JOB REF 3722250 .My father has been promised a replacement garage door for 5 months . He is 81 years old who loves his electric bike, uses it for shopping , hospital and GP appointment but getting it out of a his garage that he pays £20 per week for is almost impossible and really dangerous as he has to balance the door in one hand whilst putting up a plank of wood with the other to hold it up .
Countless phone calls and emails and they promise they are going to fix it but 20 weeks later still nothing .We are still waiting ............

I have been waiting on this cowboy company to replace my veranda doors for nearly 2 years , I live in a housing association home in North East Lincolnshire , this company are truly worthless, when I mentioned the housing ombudsman and solicitors on Wednesday morning an appointment was made for today to replace the veranda doors , if these people actually arrive today and they don't have my veranda doors to be replaced ,they will not get over my front door , and I will proceed with the housing ombudsman and solicitor.
And guess what ? They turned up at my home about 15 minutes ago with no veranda doors , door closed to them !
Do Yourself A Favour And Never Ever Use This Company , They Are A Bunch Of Cowboys .

Had a bathroom leak that has been leaking on our neighbours since April 6th, it’s now July 7th and still nothing has been done, constantly being told that someone will come out and either they come out and have to reschedule as something/someone else needs looking at it or they just don’t turn up at all

Morgan Sindall Property Services are awful. We are council tenants in Hammersmith & Fulham, they are contracted to carry out repairs. Since having our annual gas safety check on our boiler in February, we have had nothing but problems. We have now been left with no working boiler and have to rely on using the immersion to heat water. A costly, and not safe option, as I have to reset it every single day.
The sheer incompetence of their engineers never ceases to amaze me. One engineer, supposedly here to replace the flow switch, spent an hour and a half doing I don't know what, only to leave us with no working boiler and no new flow switch. The follow up appointment was attended by another engineer, who told me he had no tools and no parts and no idea what the job was about.
Engineers are cutting corners, not submitting accurate reports and not communicating to each other or to the main office.
Not impressed at all by this service. Letter of complaint being submitted today to them and the council.

My brother works for Morgan Sindall and our Mum is in hospital with Heart Failure. When he told management they did not offer any help or even comfort - and just said “oh right” and he’s later today being called into a meeting about 1 day sick he had off last week. What sort of inhuman robots are you employing as management? I did try to a call to speak to someone to try and help my brother but all your telephone lines cut off with a “write an email message”. Your company disgusts me.

This is the worst repair company ever. They hardly have appointments, I have had to wait months for appointments and then they cancel last minute on the day with no care for the fact that people take time off work. My last repair was cancelled because the person that was due to carry out the works was booked to be off that day. What a joke now I have to wait another month to have my door replaced! It fell off over a year ago. It’s been left in the hall way, it’s a fire door. I have had complaints from neighbours and the authority as it’s a fire hazard however I don’t have anywhere else to store it. The just left the door outside the flat and said they will come back to fix it another day because they didn’t have the parts! Why would you book a repair and not have the parts to carry out the job?! They also book in for a Job but never complete the work. My bathroom was booked to be tiled all the way to the ceiling today but they booked the wrong job and are deciding to tile half way. When I called them all the advisor could say is sorry there is nothing we can do about it. What’s been booked is what will be carried out and they refuse to direct me to the right person or manager. They just cut you off the phone and don’t try to help. Absolutely Horrendous customer service. I have wasted at-least 5days of my annual leave in the past year on appointments that never happen.

Had a plumber around that said I needed a new kitchen tap, he took photo's and logged it as needing a new tap, waited 3 weeks and spoke to customer services who said it wasn't on their system and that I would have to log it as a new repair, so phoned the line and spent an hour on the phone at number 1 in line and still did not get through, do they only have one person on the phones or are they working from home (under a tree in the park) more like.. a joke of a service.

I was informed that I would be given an early appointment being between 8am and 1pm.I work nights so ensured that I broke my sleep to be up and ready for 8am for the contractions.At 11.10 I noticed a missed appointment card had been placed in my porch without anyone knocking my door or calling my phone.I called Morgan Sindall straight away and finally got through to an operative named Mathew who stated that I was lying and that the contractor Definately knocked my door and banged my window.I explained that my front door goes straight into my living room so if this were the case I would have most definitely have heard the knock and especially the banging of my window.Mather was speaking over me constantly and being completely unprofessional and rude.He then went onto saying that he could get the contractor back out between 3 and 5 pm.I stated that this was a little unfair as I had been given an early appointment and didn’t feel that I should have to wait I. The entire day to have a repair carried out.Mathew then stated that he was “being nice” by telling me between 3 and 5 pm and now I have to wait from now to 5 pm.I asked to speak to a manager and was refused.I am completely shocked and outraged at such rude and disrespectful behaviour from a representative of Morgan Sindall

Impossible to contact I've tried several times and after being on hold for ages I get a recording telling me 'admin mailbox please enter code' My basic repair has been rumbling on for 6 months because their workmen say they're coming back and they don't. Then it takes weeks to get another appointment. Sadly I have no option but to deal with this company. I'm just so fed up and have complained to my council who have recognised my complaint and paid compensation. The workmanship seems fine, but their back office systems are a shambles

This is company that provide maintenance & services for house association I've rented house for years. No appointment date was EVER kept and there are always same annoying problems. Electrician & gas engineer come and go as they pleased ignoring date and time set by this creepy company itself or agreed upon.
I'm employed with commitments and I don't have time waiting around clock when you decide like is best time to wake up and show up. Assuming I actually know and receive letter with information about appointment or I just find some trash hand written note in doors informing me about missed visit/appointment. Another company favorite option is send letter about missed appointment I didn't know about.
I hope you get replaced by another company capable to master at least elementary customer service requirements.
I don't want and I don't like deal with you. I should see gas engineer in house for yearly gas check today. Instead of that I have sms with another set date and time. And then, after that, another sms with another time. You are joke.
Update, no, pointless, it goes like this all the time for years. You notified me about again different date&time, stick with it for once. You cost me another day off work I need to take as always when I deal with you. If I do something it'll be change of landlord&housing.

Why do the call operators have such a vendetta against those ringing for help? It’s like they deliberately try and provoke you for no reason? Surely just send someone to fix the problem and then you’ll have less time on the phone? All you’re doing is leaving young children and disabled people without essentials such as water for long periods of time. Morgan Sindall paired with St Albans council has to be the most dire service known to man.
