I wanted to fit a locking ‘T’ handle to the boot of my Watsonian sidecar in place of the simple quarter-turn key lock fitted as standard. There are plenty of chrome plated die-cast zinc handles out there but they looked cheap and nasty and probably wouldn’t stand up to weather very long. I found a nice looking stainless steel locking ‘T’ handle on the Metrol Springs site at a very competitive price. I ordered it Tuesday evening and had it in my hand by Thursday afternoon. A good quality solid lump of stainless steel that I am well pleased with!

Having waited for about a year for the original manufacturer of my truck top to supply replacement gas struts, I found Metrol on line whilst looking for a special hinge which they also supplied. Contacted Jack Bannister who was very helpful and helped me select what I needed.
Would that their carriers were as good who delivered the struts a week after they said they would!

Easy to find the right strut by inputting all the dimensions on the website. Well packed, delivered in 2 days. I forgot to add connectors to both ends, and when I got in touch they sent another two out FOC straight away. Brilliant service.

The information I needed was clearly available on the website and ordering was easy. The item ( gas strut) arrived quickly and was well packaged. The item is good quality & installation and adjustment instructions provided were clear. The item was duly fitted and force adjusted to the application. A good experience. Would certainly use this supplier again.

Of a pair of strut connectors, one was the wrong size. I phoned the company, was assured a replacement would be sent the next day, but one week later it is still to arrive.
