Very easy to arrange my van loan.

After being refused on a number of occasions,I found the perfect car,did an eligibility check through the dealership,24hrs later everything agreed thanks to Motonovo.

Absolutely appalling experience – significant stress and financial loss

I would strongly advise anyone considering using this finance company to be extremely cautious.

I contacted them because I needed to sell my vehicle due to a change in circumstances and there would be a shortfall between the sale price and the finance settlement figure.

I specifically asked how this shortfall could be dealt with. Two separate members of staff told me that the vehicle could be sold and that I could set up a payment plan with them for the remaining shortfall. This was not just something said casually during one telephone conversation – I received the information from two different agents, it was documented during telephone calls, and I also have it confirmed in writing.

I therefore proceeded with the sale of my vehicle based on the information their own staff had provided.

They have now completely retracted this and simply told me that both agents were wrong and that they cannot offer the payment arrangement I was explicitly told I could have.

Despite acknowledging that their own staff provided incorrect information, they have offered no meaningful solution to the situation they have created.

As a direct result, my vehicle sale has been disrupted and I have had to find alternative finance at short notice to cover the shortfall. This has caused me significant stress, inconvenience and financial loss.

Customers should be able to rely on information provided by a regulated finance company, particularly when the same information has been provided independently by two members of staff and confirmed in writing. Simply saying afterwards that both agents were wrong does not undo the consequences of a customer having relied upon that information.

I have raised a formal complaint and expect all telephone calls, account notes and written correspondence to be reviewed as part of the investigation.

The complete lack of accountability and unwillingness to provide a solution after admitting their own agents gave me incorrect information has been shocking. Based on my experience, this has felt like dealing with a cowboy company rather than a professional finance provider.

Very Poor Experience

I’m extremely disappointed with MotoNovo Finance. The very first direct debit payment was completely messed up, which should be one of the simplest things for a finance company to get right.

When I contacted Financial Help for assistance, the service was equally frustrating. I found the support to be incompetent, unhelpful and lacking in clear communication. Instead of resolving the problem, I was left having to chase the matter and explain the situation repeatedly.

For a finance company, getting payments and direct debits right from the beginning is fundamental. Customers should not have to deal with unnecessary stress because of an error that is not their fault.

I would seriously reconsider using MotoNovo Finance and cannot recommend them based on my experience so far.
