Honest experience
Having been to we buy any car booking an appointment and then it being inspected and the being offered a third of the quote. This organisation is honest takes time to review the vehicle history and body if you provide photos and then gives you an honest quote that they stick to when inspecting on pick up.
Liam called ahead as I was promised giving me 30 mins notice and arrived as planned. No messing, very polite and his liaison with the office was quick and efficient. He waited until I confirmed I had received the agreed value into my account then he was on his way.the whole process took about 15 minutes.

Thank you for clarifying your position.
I acknowledge your confirmation that my account was not suspended for missing the payment deadline and that the deadline had not expired when the suspension took place. I appreciate having this confirmed in writing.
I also acknowledge your position that an approved IAA account does not automatically guarantee continued eligibility with Motorflog.
However, I remain disappointed that you have still not identified what specific information or conduct caused you to conclude that I was not an appropriate trade buyer. I was allowed to participate in the auction, successfully bid on the vehicle and receive a sale confirmation for £6,698.80, with payment due by 3 October 2026 at 11:01:30.
My questions after winning were simply practical questions about whether the vehicle needed engine oil, coolant or recovery for collection. I did not refuse the purchase or ask to cancel it.
I would also like to clarify why I have been communicating through reviews. I have attempted to contact you directly, but my email communication has been blocked, leaving me with no practical way to respond privately. In those circumstances, I believe it is reasonable for me to raise my concerns through the review platform.
Blocking communication and then asking me not to use the review platform is, in my view, unprofessional and does not provide me with a reasonable way to have my concerns addressed.
I am relatively new to the motor trade, but I am actively getting involved in buying and selling vehicles and was using your platform in good faith. If there is a specific requirement I have failed to meet, I would still like the opportunity to understand it and provide any appropriate evidence.
I respect your decision regarding the transaction, but I would ask you to reconsider the account suspension and allow me to demonstrate that I am a genuine trade buyer.
I will respect your request regarding future communication, provided that I am given a genuine private channel through which I can communicate with you.
Therefore im open to still talk through email if you can unblock me from the system then i dont have to messge you publicly

Company offered me a price within 5 minutes of me putting in for a quote. Then collected the next day. Liam picked my car up, did a great job of getting through a tight drive way and I got the price I was quoted with no bartering. Great company and very helpful.

Avoid Motorflog - Misleading Experience
Motorflog do not allow customers to properly view or inspect vehicles before buying, meaning you're expected to purchase based solely on the advert.
I paid for the car online and it was handed over to me with multiple faults already present, including a major engine misfire that made the car sound like a tractor. None of these issues were mentioned in the advert.
I later found evidence suggesting attempts had been made to mask the underlying problem rather than properly repair it. Even after an independent inspection confirmed the faults, Motorflog refused to accept any responsibility.
I feel the vehicle was not accurately described, the sales process lacks transparency, and I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before purchasing from this company.

We’re sorry that you’re unhappy with your purchase, however it’s important to clarify the nature of the auction through which this vehicle was purchased.
IAA is a trade auction specialising in repairable, salvage and other vehicles that may require significant rectification. Vehicles are sold on an “as is, where is” basis and, as is standard with this type of auction, buyers are purchasing with an element of risk. The inability to physically inspect vehicles prior to bidding is also known before a purchase is made.
We sell thousands of vehicles and make every effort to provide traders with accurate descriptions, photographs and all information available to us at the time of sale. However, these are not retail vehicles and an auction listing cannot provide the same assurances as purchasing a fully inspected vehicle from a retail dealership. The condition and pricing of the vehicles reflect this.
We also completely reject the suggestion that Motorflog attempts to conceal or mask mechanical faults. This is not something we do.
We understand that discovering additional faults after purchase is frustrating, but this is precisely why buyers must understand the terms and risks associated with purchasing repairable and trade vehicles at auction before bidding.
