Ask lots of questions before starting. Do migration asap after chosen date as you pay for an entire year to include only a few transactions imported post migration date.
Good service - can't fault it. Very helpful customer service although didn't always answer the questions asked - rather a roundabout response to simplify.

Best conversion to date
The data was pretty standard with no foreign Currency or departments to convert, a very quick conversion with only minor tweaks to be done to sort a few errors, very good and now have 1 year 11 months worth of back up data to refer to

Thanks for the kind review. The destination software vendors often kindly subsidise conversions. They've decided the period they're prepared to pay for customers.
We understand your disappointment with having to pay for additional years, but we're not able to provide the service for free for additional years not covered by the subsidy.

I paid £90 to import attachments but…
I paid £90 to import attachments but there were only two. All the bills were not imported properly (as they had been put under expenses and didn't transfer) and when I contacted support for help I have received no reply.

As indicated by my colleague in reply to your email, the transactions that you enquired about appear to have been converted. If you still believe they're missing, please reply to the original email thread, and we can provide next steps on clarifying the presence of the transactions.
Please note that customers are not obligated to include the optional extras (additional years, departments or attachments). We simply provide the option to include these and leave it to the customer to decide if they want these or whether the cost is justifiable.

Great way to move from Sage to Xero. Only section I need to edit is CIS as that converted in a very strange way.

Excellent experience moving 6 months of data
Excellent experience moving 6 months of transactions over from QB. Only one very minor glitch with one of the transactions towards the end of the migration. Highly recommended.

Apologies we weren't able to convert all the information you were hoping for. We try to be very clear about the data we do and don't convert, as there are known and documented limitations when using our service.
We include links to the limitations on our website and within the app that customers use to create their conversions. These are intended to set customer expectations correctly and specifically mention the product information and default fields you were missing.
Sorry we can't be of more help in help converting the missing information.

I'm very sorry about this. I've located your conversion in our system and also reviewed your conversation with my colleague who responded to your enquiry.
If you refer to the conversion in question within your Movemybooks account, you will see the explanation for the difference you mention. In summary, your source accounting data has a known corruption called link removed (https://gb-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=200427112208553).
We're not able to resolve this as it's a problem with the source software and data, but we certainly could have provided a more useful and informative response to your support enquiry.
Apologies that we didn't provide this information and I will review our processes in an attempt to ensure we better communicate such things going forward.
