Travel was smooth, timely, and planned to perfection

“It was the most perfect pristine, beautiful, fun trip I've ever been on. The mountains, wildlife, and river were breath taking and everything was taken care of for us by our wonderful five guides. They were very experienced oarsman on the river, then cooked amazing meals and set up and took down camp like a well oiled machine. The Salmon River middle fork touches your heart and soul and you don't want to leave. I could have stayed there forever!”

The Adriatic Alps offer beautiful, breathtaking and challenging hikes. It lets you experience areas of the country that you would never see otherwise. This vacation was active, educational and fun it was everything we were looking for.

Class Act. What I loved about this trip is that all details were taken care of. Walking was challenging, but that is what I signed up for. There were enough breaks, great food, excellent tours, amazing places. Everything was planned and executed wonderfully. If you want a trip that has it all, this is it.

Not only was the hiking and scenery fabulous but the guides were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and conscientious of our safety at all times. The food was great, especially the lunches and the hotels were very nice.

Diverse and beautiful locations, wonderful local experiences, together with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guides, made my trip a wonderful experience!

I got up close and personal with glaciers and ice in a kaleidoscope of stunning backgrounds. Personable guides led us, well-fed, through a true wilderness, and the experience will be with me through the rest of my life.

I really enjoyed my trip. The guides were wonderful, the food and accommodations were all amazing. The cultural and historical components of the trip really made it for me.

We love MTS! This was our third trip with them -- and all have been great! Victoria Falls and Hwang NP in Zimbabwe was a spectacular location -- with perfect pacing, amazing wildlife, wonderful encounters with locals, and best of all, a spectacular guide that was constantly tailoring our trip to fit our small 5-person group's needs. Highly recommend!

Mt Sobek offers more adventurous trips with a flair for luxury than most travel groups. I couldn’t be more impressed with the guide’s, Steven and Yannick, that were apart of our adventure. Even the bus driver, Roberto, was such a fun personality that he was important to the overall success of the trip. This trip was fantastic.

Great range of experiences organized. Liked the hotels and lodges. Guides were variable; some were great. Would have been better to match guides with our interests, if possible. Some additional choices for us to pick from (menu like) would also have been better. But all great and would do it all again,

My African safari experience through M T Sobek was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we set foot in Africa, every day brought new wonders and unforgettable moments. The sheer diversity of wildlife left me in awe—majestic lions roaming the plains, elegant giraffes grazing peacefully, and families of elephants bathing at sunset. The sheer amazement at the size and power of Victoria Falls was a bucket list item I checked off.

Our guide, Harris, was incredibly knowledgeable. He shared insights about the animals' behaviors and the delicate ecosystem around us. He ensured every day was an adventure, tracking elusive lions and marveling at the grace of the Impalas.

The accommodations were superb, blending luxury with a genuine connection to rustic nature. Waking up to the sounds of the wild lion's roar and enjoying a meal under the stars were experiences that made me feel both pampered and deeply connected to the environment.

But what truly made this safari exceptional was the people we met along the way. From local communities sharing their traditions, endangered Rhinos, and excited school kids to fellow travelers exchanging stories around the campfire, a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual appreciation for Africa's beauty made me feel included and valued.

I cannot recommend M T Sobek enough if you're considering an African safari. It's not just a trip; it's a soul-stirring journey that connects you with nature in its purest form. I returned home with a newfound respect for wildlife conservation and a heart full of memories that will stay with me forever.

Our guide, Ben, was the best: personable, kind, knowledgeable (about everything from the history of ancient churches to the flora and fauna we encountered along the way. We had great conversations; we couldn't have asked for a better guide and companion!

The Tanzania Ultimate Serengeti Active Safari is a rare adventure that captured all wildlife, the woodlands, as well as an in-depth, personal introduction to the Maasi tribe, how they live and eat.

Ben Walker led the trip of a lifetime. Each day was like walking into a painting of the majestic English Countryside. Seasoned guiding professional Ben Walker regaled us with stories of the history, geology, flora and fauna that kept each hike and meal interesting and entertaining. The cultural side trips were fascinating and greatly enhanced the experience. Ben and Jamie went beyond the call of duty to anticipate our every need or desire to make this adventure one we will never forget. They exceeded all of our expectations. PS the food was terrific.

The freedom to show up and enjoy myself and create my own experience within the framework provided, along with relieving any mental load for planning was well worth the price of this trip. The El Camino exceeded my expectations due to the knowledge of our guide, Eric. He made the learning fun and the trails more meaningful. All the Mt Sobek personnel were very professional and personable at the same time. A truly enjoyable hike through northern Spain.
