Very secure lock; highly recommended! Terrific customer service too - responsive and very helpful!

Brilliant adapter that is easily attached to the headphone socket on your laptop (using the screwdriver provided). Allows secure attachment of the Kensington locking system which I have in bolted to my desk.

We were in need of a security cable to tether some ultrabook laptops to a specific location for a demonstration. As most if not all ultrabooks no longer have a Kensington lock slot on them this made things difficult. However I found the J-Plug from an internet search which allows a device to be secured via the audio jack. I had 4 different types of laptop to secure and thie worked very well.

The company are brilliant to deal with and very communicative. Would certainly order from them again in the future.

The anchor laptop lock adapter and combi lock was easy to set up, taking about 5 mins in total, with clear instructions on the packaging without any unnecessary paper instructions. At my NHS Trust hot-desking is used widely in our offices especially for large teams like my own with staff attending on different days. The lock enables me to leave my laptop secured at the desk whilst I see patients, or take a 5-minute coffee break, without worrying and improves my work efficiency and productivity throughout the day. It has become a simple essential to my workplace.

I had an issue with the lock purchased, contacted them and had an immediate response on the phone. Issue was resolved and new lock in the post next day. Excellent customer service and really good quality products

I was looking for security lock adapter for my Lenovo Ideapad 3. It does not have a lock slot. This seemed the least intrusive. I ordered the an Anchor and it arrived in 7 days with no problems. The Anchor fits tight and works with my Kensington cable lock. Great product and good customer service.

I'd give 6 stars if it were possible!
Multplx's customer service is honestly the best I've experienced in years. I sent in a query on Christmas day expecting no reply but instead got a prompt and very helpful answer to my question! After I had purchased the security anchor for international delivery, it was quickly dispatched. Due to covid, the regular shipping process got stuck. I emailed the sales department and within an hour got a response from a human that they were looking into it. Within a day they had shipped another anchor at no additional cost with priority international shipping.
The security anchor itself installs easily and works perfectly. It looks and feels well-engineered and is compact. This is the perfect solution for laptops that lack a Kensington lock port.

What a vendor is *really* worth, comes to the surface only when you need something extra or when there is a problem.
While I wanted to add something shortly after placing my initial order, an online chat session was enough to merge orders, avoiding double shipping costs. Excellent.

I also faced some import-issues (UK to EU).
Annoying, but Sham from Multplx was on it from the first moment, spamming Fedex and keeping me up2date every few hours.
Great service (even beyond) for what basically was a small order. They are on top of my suppliers list now :)
And oh yes, they have great products too :-)

Recently Purchased the Anchor. Like many newer laptops it doesn't have a Kensington port. The Anchor is great, many might say £25 is a bit much for a piece of metal but when considering what its protecting its great. Definitely consider this product regardless of the price.

I purchased a Multplx J-Plug Anchor & Kensington lock package to secure my HP laptop. I've been using it for six months and am very pleased with it. I highly recommend the product.

The anchor adapter is a unique and elegant solution and has worked very well. Its slim profile fits within the footprint of my laptop and secures it without getting in the way. I was very pleased to find a removable solution to lock my laptop without attaching anything to it permanently.

I was also impressed with Multplx's sales support. Their team contacted me via phone/email both before and after my purchase to ensure I was happy with the product. Shipping to the United States was quick and reasonable, and I appreciated being able to get a single unit for my personal use (as many alternative products are only sold in bulk quantities for use in retail settings).

A phenomenal and ingeniously simple solution to a continued issue with laptop manufactures. Laptops are a huge long term investment and central to everyday life as a utility and storage of financial and personal information. Yet we are given no opportunity to safeguard this investment from theft.

Thankfully Multplx created this little device that is more than affordable with excellent quality!!!

I highly recommend anyone who has a slim modern laptop that is unable to physically lock it down, to get this before they think of spending time at the local coffee shop or pub. You'll wish you had when you come back to your seat and find your investment and data gone.

The Anchor product for surface laptops is great, really good solution for a gap in Microsoft design. Great customer service too.

I spend a lot of time in cafes and shared working spaces. One of my everyday annoyances is that  every time I need to leave the table for any duration, even if it's just to fill my water bottle, I have to pack my laptop and take it with me. I'm way too paranoid to leave it unattended. In the past I've used a kensington lock on my old laptop, but I couldn't figure out a way to connect it to my new surface book. At the time of buying the laptop I didn't think too much about this, but it doesn't seem like any laptops work with the kensington lock anymore. Anyway I saw a post from these guys on instagram promoting their kensington lock adapter, I decided to get myself one during the sale. I wish I found this sooner! I just plug the adapter into the headphone socket, lock it in place with the provided tool, then attach the kensington lock to the adapter. Now I can feel at ease knowing my laptop is secured! It's all metal and the finish looks amazing. It's really small, I can just leave it on the laptop all the time and best of all, it fits in my laptop bag without a problem. I would definitely recommend this product.
