Really great innovated product. The lock is very secured and small enough. The cable is better than any kensington cabale I’ve ever used.

Deduct one star for shipping in an envelope. You must not ship items with box packaging internationally. The boxes are crushed and the items are out of their packaging. I’d be furious if these were collectibles.

Professional solution- right for my immediate needs. Sharp packaging. Responsive and top-notch service.

What i want to say is this company is extremely good. When i purchase, they even reach me out by calling me and told that i must expect a delay on delivery due to heavy traffick of the courier because im from Malaysia. During the purchase i also ask for extra bubble wrap..unexpectedly they provide me with a large amount of bubble wrapp ^_^....so far this store is the store you would like to recommend to each other especially for gadget scurity..the product is extremely good and easy to use as the instruction is on the box..it is easy to follow the instruction..even dumb people can follow the instruction haha...tq MULTPLX..will buy again from your store :)....sorry for my terrible english haha

We own a Lenovo Yoga laptop and with a lot of modern-day slim laptops they do not have a k slot to lock the laptop. As my child was starting university, I wanted something to secure the laptop. I was not keen on a permanent glued solution and found on a American forum which recommended a product from the UK called the j plug anchor by Multplx. which fits into the laptop’s jack which then allows a standard Kensington type lock to be attached. After careful review I decided the order the Ultimate Universal Laptop Security Lock System. This contains the j plug anchor and combi lock and screw fix point. Everything I needed to secure the laptop at uni. Ordered on Friday morning and by the afternoon I received a royal mail tracking number via sms and email. Brilliant. The item arrived couple days later. I was a bit sceptical when I opened the product being such a small anchor but once I attached it to my laptop it fitted perfectly and looked flushed with my laptop and looked very premium an secure. The build quality of the combi lock looks and feel of excellent quality. After testing the strength of the anchor by pulling, tugging and twisting the lock, I was very satisfied with the product. It exceeds my expectations. Such a simple solution but extremely effective. Fast forward 1 month, at uni and trying to set the combi pin. Fat fingers and ignorance I manage to set the PIN to something completely different I wanted. I could not get the lock to lock as the pin was lost. As a last resort I emailed Multplx sale support and explained my situation, this was on a Saturday. On Sunday I received an email from Team Multplx to tell me that a replacement lock will be sent to me on Monday as a goodwill gesture and Shamin will assist with my replacement lock. As stated, on Monday I received an email from Shamin that my lock was in the post and I was to contact him personal for him to assist me setting the PIN. I now have a working combi lock securing my laptop via the Multplx j plug anchor. I am very impressed with the after sale, communication and support from Multplx. Outstanding product and Team. I was not asked at any time to ship the old combi lock for a replacement. Thank you Multplx & Shamin.

The universal laptop security system is a fabulous device that now secures our Sony Vaio laptop to our main reception desk. Very easy to fit, and makes the laptop secure during working hours, equally easy for us to release the padlock so we can store the laptop away at night. Excellent customer service and very speedy delivery. Highly recommend.

The first time I ordered I received a defective product, so I emailed them to request a refund. However, they reached out via phone to ask if they could fix the situation, and after confirming that my product was indeed defective, they immediately sent me a new product at no charge and I received it almost the next day. Excellent customer service!

This product was exactly what I was looking for. The customer service so far is above what most companies do. The product itself seems good quality and preforms the task. This was a better alternative to the sticky ones that you lock on the lid of your laptop.

Pro: Did not interfere with our laptop case
- Seems very secure and good quality
- Good communication about delivery and follow-up about the product.

Cons: A little expensive, hopefully the presence grows in Canada.

This is a great product. I needed a lock that would fit my Mac Book Pro. This product fit the bill. It is well made, looks great and does the job. The dongle (i.e. anchor adapter) is small and unobtrusive (yet still very strong). It is easy to put on and take off. I received my product a few days after placing the order. This is extremely impressive since the product shipped from the UK and I am in the US. I don't know how they managed to get me my order that quickly, but great job! After I placed my order, I also received a follow up call from Sham in support because I originally did not include my email address and he wanted to provide me a tracking number. This went above and beyond my expectations. I also had a product question and sent an email to Customer service and Sham responded within minutes (I actually received another phone call and spoke to him). This was great. I personally like to speak to someone rather than exchange emails back and forth. He answered my questions and resolved my issue. He even offered to help me in the future (once I got the product). This company and product really exceeded my expectations. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I would highly recommend them. If you are in the need of a laptop cable lock - BUY THIS product - it's great. It even works with my (Mac Book Pro) case that I have installed. I didn't need to make a cut out. Clearly a lot of thought went into the design. Well done! A+ all the way around!

Excellent customer service: I initially ordered the wrong product. I didn't notice, but they did, probably because I was ordering a commercial version to a residential address. So they phoned me within the hour, and talked me through my options, in *in order to sell me a cheaper product instead*. Never had that before.

Excellent product: The Universal Laptop Security Lock System. This is a system which turns your 3.5mm audio (headphone) jack into an integral socket for a laptop (or other device) security cable. This is the perfect alternative for those like me whose laptop has no Kensington socket. I didn't trust the various glue on plate systems available elsewhere, this seems like a much better bet, and seems not to be available elsewhere. It comes with a combination lock, so as easy to attach/reattach as with a Kensington/plate solution.

I purchased two Dell XPS 13 9310 laptops and was surprised to see there was no Kensington-type security lock slot. After an extensive search for a solution, I was excited to discover the Anchor Laptop Lock Adapter & Locking Cable from Multplx. They call it the, "Universal Laptop Security Lock System". This brilliant security cable lock system will secure any laptop via its ingenious Anchor Adaptor via your laptop's 3.5mm audio/headphone port. It is surprisingly secure and is built with amazing quality. The locking cable is heavier than most and the attached combination lock is not only durable but actually beautiful. It seems to be a high-quality metal but the finish looks like beautifully polished marble.

I bought this product J-PLUG ANCHOR, it works well for the device I was locking up. Multplx was the only company selling this kind of item. Where you could lock it up using the 3.5mm audio port

I wholeheartedly recommend the J-plug Anchor, both for its elegant and effective design and for the company’s excellent customer service. I’m a doctor working in a correctional centre and my new laptop doesn’t have a security slot. The J-plug anchor has turned out to be the perfect solution to this problem. The streamlined design works perfectly with my Lenovo Flex and doesn’t get in the way if I flip it into tablet mode. When the original parcel went missing in our local postal service, a service representative from Multplx responded immediately to my email, phoned the South African postal service helpline, and then sent a replacement Anchor with priority mail at no cost. Would give more than five stars if I could.

I am extremely pleased with the Universal Laptop Security Lock from Multplx.

I bought an expensive miniature executive laptop - and later discovered it had no security port. The J-Plug Anchor is a fantastic idea and works really well for me, along with the supplied locking cable.

I use this solution each day in co-working spaces around the city to secure my laptop, and expect will do the same on trains and in airports too.

I generally leave the little J-Plug Anchor attached all the time - even when the laptop is in my bag - it's so inobtrusive.

The fact that I could also use it to secure a Tablet or even a mobile phone when travelling is a great side effect of my purchase.

The cable coils up and fits easily into the 13" laptop bag I use, and adds little bulk or weight.

I ordered the device online and put in the notes that it was urgent - the supplier actually telephoned me to tell me they had dispatched it and it arrived the next day, before I needed it - I was most impressed.

I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
