I’ve had least with Rob for over 2 years both in person and online and have developed from a beginner to being able to attempt bucket list pieces I thought were well beyond me, being taught to look for patterns/ structures and develop good habits along the way. Rob is flexible and friendly and I look forward to my lessons every week!

Rob is truly the best piano teacher you could ask for!

I was new to piano when I started learning with Rob in 2020 - I'd tried to self teach for a couple of months without getting anywhere. Since starting lessons with him, I've gained so much knowledge and confidence. He adapts to suit your learning style and helps you to reach your own goals. He is so encouraging while still giving you feedback to grow, and lessons are such a great experience!

I can now play tricker pieces without needing to look at the music all the time and can just enjoy playing - something I didn't think was possible for me before.

If you're thinking about learning music (whatever level you're at), I can't recommend MusicSoundAcademy enough. The teaching is incredible and they provide all the resources you need on your music journey.

I have been getting lessons with Rob since 2017 - 2021, both in person and online. I then picked my lessons up again in 2025 and was surprised at how much I could remember. Rob is a great teacher in terms of musical theory and giving you a choice in which pieces of music you learn. A friendly persona who doesn't make you nervous for making mistakes. I enjoy my lessons thoroughly and happy with the progress I've made with the help of Rob. Rob is flexible in terms of dates and times with lessons and happy to accommodate timings that work for me.

A wonderful piano teacher, both for playing the piano and composing music. You couldn’t ask for more.
