Good Auction Experience
My experience was great - the jersey is 100% the one auctioned, the shipping was amazingly fast and packaged well, I had a question which was answered very quick by a person (not a bot).
It was a good experience and definitely a jersey from the game so bid with confidence.
Would note to some of the negative feedback from others -
1) The fees are are disclosed. The auction management fee is fair and transparent @ 15%.
2) The additional tax fees are from your government not the company (i.e. as a Canadian I paid GST). This is standard with pretty much anything bought online from a different country - if you don't pay the tax it's charged at customs clearance.
3) MWS seems to put in 'proxy' pictures until they receive the actual jerseys, I noticed they then uploaded the actual pictures and updated any auctions that had different status than list (i.e. not signed) which seems to be what can reset bids - this is fair the listed item doesn't exist and has thus changed. The alternative would be far worse for buyers.
Overall, sincerely happy to get a piece of world cup history.

The top that I was bidding on was a large, the top I got was a small, which knowing the person, there’s no way he would be in a small. I contacted the team, and they looked into, and said it should have been advertised as a small, and has offered me compensation for the mis advertisements. Although 2 weeks on and still waiting for the compensation.

Unacceptable Auction Process and Poor Communication
Since the start of the World Cup auctions, too many items have been changed, withdrawn, relisted or extended after bidders had already placed bids or started following the auctions.
Several shirts were listed as Worn, Signed and later changed to Issued, Signed, or removed completely because MWS would no longer receive them. Some auctions were also extended by one week shortly before their original end, which is unfair to bidders and can directly affect the final price.
There have also been contradictory or unclear updates about some listings, making it very difficult to trust the auction information. Customer support does not always reply, and when they do, the answers are sometimes vague or incomplete.
For high-value match-worn items, the verification process and communication should be much more reliable and transparent before auctions go live. If MWS cannot manage this properly, they should not be running such auctions.

Low quality item
I bought a "match issued" item, but it was of very low quality - it appeared that another number had been applied to the shirt and then removed and so there were a significant yellow / green marks on the back of the shirt (in the shape and size of another number). Doubtful it was an authentic match issued item in this condition - it's a shame, as I've bought from MWS a number of times before and have had no other issues. Didn't receive a reply to my request to escalate the complaint.

I have now purchased several match-worn shirts from this company and have been blown away every time. The quality of the shirts, their presentation, and the provenance provided are all first class.
What has impressed me most, however, is the transparency and openness of the company.
