Best Email Hoster!

I have used MXroute to host my email for 2 years now. The community based support is fast and overall really good.

Really impressed

Really impressed. Have dabbled with running my own server as have two domains but found it a pain. I’m just an individual user so don’t want to pay for two separate ms exchange accounts. This is ideal solution allows unlimited domains and unlimited addresses. Even supports catch all and has spam assassin support. Webmail a bit basic but I use outlook anyway so all good there. Overall a bargain - especially if you have multiple Domains and addresses. They’re doing a lifetime offer which I wish I’d signed up for now instead of one year at $40

Unmatched Email Service.

MXroute quickly became my preferred email service provider. What started as a backup email provider became the email service provider I feel is mandatory for any commercial project where email delivery is of the utmost importance.

One of the very few services I'm happy to refer friends and business partners alike. One of the very few services I take the time to review.

I've been using MXroute for 2+ years…

I've been using MXroute for 2+ years now. They've outperformed the competition in my experience, and at a fraction of the cost! I look forward to hosting mine and my clients' mail with them for many years to come!

Highly recommended

I had been meaning to try out MXroute sooner but just never gotten around to it. Using the service for about 2 months now. Overall it is great, easy to set up and configure via Cloudflare, saves me having to worry about managing my own mail server now. Highly recommended.

MXRoute is scam

My advice, stay away from MXRoute. They offer a good discount and price for 2 years subscription but after a few months, they will cancel your account without a clear reason and without refund the remaining period. Check their refund policy it is a scam

This review has been made in bad faith, and we would like to provide the other side of the story.

We had been providing service to this customer since May of 2017. They had renewed their service once (paying two invoices total). On the day of this review they were sent this email at 06:25 CDT:

"Your account has been terminated for actively and intentionally engaging in the sending of unsolicited marketing emails. This is not a mistake and the information has been verified fully, there will be no exceptions."

To follow up with their claim of no reason being provided, we verified that Google (the provider for the email address they used to sign up for our service) accepted our email to them and provided this code in return as proof of delivery:

"250 2.0.0 OK 1570616749 l67si679249ybf.326 - gsmtp"

What occurred here is that the customer sent 1,481 emails within one hour to a large list of recipients, a great number of which were invalid email addresses. The subject of this email advertised a product that they were actively marketing on their company Facebook page, which indicated that this was intentional and not a compromised email account. That proves both intent and the lack of a valid opt-in procedure. It is then a confirmed fact that the customer sent bulk unsolicited marketing emails, as consent could not have been confirmed by the invalid recipients. We have never been shy about letting our customers know that this is forbidden as it damages the quality of our service for the rest of our customers, and cost us a great deal to mitigate. All logs of this event have been archived as evidence.

Excellent provider

Excellent provider. You will not be able to find anything of this quality for the same price.

Jarland is extremely responsive and helpful. Do note that the support scheme is non-traditional. No ticket system, support is offered through Slack and the Forums.

No issues whatsoever in my experience.

I love MXroute

They are one of the best email providers out there. Excellent service with awesome support.

Updates:

I have been with them for more than 3 years now and it has never failed me once.

It has some work around in setting up the system but once done everything is easy to use.

Awesome service and support for a fraction of price

MXroute is super awesome. It saved me from so much trouble managing email servers at a fraction of the cost. Support is very fast and friendly, and the community support on their forum and slack is also really great! They also have exceptional email delivery, even better than MailChannels or other paid email delivery products. I have recommended MXroute to a lot of my friends and everyone was really happy with them.

Poor Customer Support Practice

I have purchased their 3 year email hosting but had some trouble setting it up on my end since it was my first time setting up. I could not resolve it myself for a day, then went to contact support but their Submit Support ticket button has redirected to knowledgebase section (and to the forum). This was a time sensitive task for me so I wanted to be up and running as soon as possible and I was able to with another service that had more documentation. I went ahead and cancelled the service thinking I would be refunded (it literally was 2 days without any usage of service). To my surprise, I got nothing - no service and no money back at all. Nowadays, companies don't make it difficult for a customer that didn't use their service but mxroute seems to make it impossible and fights just to keep the money(which is not theirs because I did not cause any operating expenses by setting up an account and not sending any emails!).

While we welcome feedback and reviews, we've gone out of our way to make it clear on the front page of our website that we offer limited and community-based support. We are actually able to offer very fast support using the methods outlined on our help page, thanks to this system we have in place. If this and the no refunds policy (manually agreed to at signup) are not read, we're a bit limited in the path forward. There may, ultimately, be no way to not upset someone who doesn't read what we're selling, and expects us to pay transaction fees for their time.

Very good and reliable service

Very good and reliable service. Not "good for the price" (it is very cheap to put it plainly), but very good period.

I understand it's offered for a profit, but I still feel the need to thank the MXroute team for offering good service and at an affordable price.

Have used it very shortly for now - just over one moth, but have tested it thoroughly, implemented on several websites and delivery has been flawless. As long as it stays this way, I'm not worrying about emails.

Will surely update the review if things change, but for now - I'd recommend it. Cheap and very good.

Note: the technical support states they offer limited support - no chat/phone/fast ticket response. However, in my experience, the "community/forum" support has worked very well with quite decent response times to any questions/problems. And had no problems coming from MXroute end, only from my configuration. Still, writing the note: don't expect super-fast 10 minute response, nor too much hand holding. On the other hand, if you know what you are doing - MXroute works flawlessly.

Another note: don't send spam. If you do that, the account will most probably get terminated very quickly. Writing this because I've seen a few people complaining about this, playing naive (in my opinion).

I have been setting up email systems…

I have been setting up email systems for small businesses for years and for years I have been dealing with issues of server blacklists, lost emails, junk mail, delivery/receive delays etc.
After yet another mail server blacklisting on a shared host I switched over to MXRoute and could not be happier. In total, it took me only a few hours to get things changed up. They sent clear instructions throughout the process. I would highly recommend them and will be moving all of my clients over as time permits.

No complaints

Have been a customer of MXRoute around a year and a half now, and have absolutely no complaints to make about the quality of the service. For the price I'm paying it has to be one of - if not the cheapest - reliable mail hosting services out there when buying one of their special offers. I've not needed to reach out to support about any issues as everything has worked as expected, though did contact support to let them know of an incorrect link on their website at one stage and the response was prompt, so I'd imagine if there were ever any major issues encountered that support would be very helpful in assisting with the matter. Though at the price point I'm paying I'm not really expecting much, if any support - so if you think you're going to need a lot of support then there are probably better alternatives out there.
