Confused and maybe a mistake
I am still confused about what I understood before purchase and facts on plan.
I also have placed at least 8 calls to reach a live customer service person to clear my questions
And to confirm “approved” service centers as I understood from the only person I visited with that not all manufacturers service centers “dealerships” are approved ?!!!
I wish not to try to source when in need. Seems I would be stranded for sometime.

I agree that your company has a lot to offer, but after thinking about it, I can't in good conscience agree with paying $183.00 each month for the policy. I won't have it, PERIOD! I have a car payment, car insurance payment, phone bill payment, death insurance payment, rent payment, gas payment. Look I'm already on a monthly basis, pulling my hair out, I don't need anymore confusion in my life. And I know about the rates for repairs on cars, but with only 11,000 miles, on an 2025, if that car has any serious problems within the 1yr and 2 months, THAT CAR IS GOING STRAIGHT BACK TO TOYOTA! I purchased an extended warranty for my 2020 Cadillac Escalade from Auto Guard after being told my vehicle qualified for coverage, even though it already had high mileage. Before purchasing, I specifically asked questions because I wanted to make sure this company was legitimate. The sales representative was very aggressive but assured me the coverage would begin after the required 30-day and 1,000-mile waiting period. I was also told my oil changes would be covered.
After my coverage became active, I took my vehicle to the Cadillac dealership for a routine oil change. During the inspection, the technician found an engine-related issue and contacted Auto Guard to start a claim.
Instead of honoring the contract, Auto Guard repeatedly asked for maintenance records, which I provided. After more than a week of delays, they denied my claim and even refused to pay for the oil change that I was told would be covered.
My experience has been extremely disappointing. They had no problem taking over $4,500 for the warranty and collecting monthly payments, but when it came time to use the coverage, they found reasons not to pay.
I feel completely misled by the promises made during the sales process. If a company is willing to sell you a warranty, they should stand behind the coverage they advertise.
I am currently considering pursuing legal action and filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies because I believe consumers deserve better than this.
I strongly encourage anyone considering an Auto Guard warranty to thoroughly research the company, read every detail of the contract, and understand exactly what they are agreeing to before spending thousands of dollars.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

You told us your car was in great running condition with no problems, however you filed a claim right after the validation period for repairs that your car had present in February. You failed to mention these problems with us when asked and we have proof all of these repairs your car needed BEFORE coverage purchase date. Pre existing problems are not covered as you were advised.
We respectfully disagree with the characterization of your experience. Before any claim determination is made, our claims department conducts a thorough review of the repair facility's findings, available vehicle history, prior repair records, maintenance documentation, and the terms of the coverage agreement.
In this case, the claim was not denied simply because a repair was requested. The review identified documented conditions that existed prior to the effective date of coverage, as well as other factors relevant to the claim determination under the terms of the agreement. Vehicle protection plans are designed to cover eligible mechanical breakdowns that occur after coverage becomes effective and are not intended to cover pre-existing conditions.
We understand this outcome is frustrating and recognize that you disagree with the decision. However, we stand behind the claim review process and the determination based on the documentation available. If you believe additional information or documentation should be considered, our claims team remains available to review it.

Repair records dated 2/20/2025 (124,979 miles) document a dead CUE/radio with communication faults that was diagnosed and repairs declined prior to contract sale. Current failure is consistent with the previously documented condition.
Prior repair records document worn stabilizer links requiring replacement before the vehicle was sold. The current steering click is attributable to the same pre-existing condition.
Tire pressure monitoring system concerns were diagnosed prior to contract sale, with two TPMS sensors recommended and repairs declined. The current TPMS complaint is a continuation of the previously documented condition.
DTC P06DD and a failed oil pressure control solenoid were diagnosed and repairs declined prior to contract sale. The same fault remains present, indicating a pre-existing condition rather than a new mechanical breakdown.
Inspection photos show extensive long-term oil saturation and debris accumulation consistent with a pre-existing condition. Additionally, no verifiable maintenance records were provided documenting an oil service between 124,980 and 156,117 miles (over 31,000 miles), as required under the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

I bought a warranty for an older…
I bought a warranty for an older vehicle. I paid $179 a month for this coverage. When the vehicle needed a repair the claim was denied because they claim the vehicle has a "Salvage" title. This is untrue. I even sent them a copy of my title. They refused to honor the contact and cancelled my coverage. They also refused to refund and money I've paid in because they claim I'm in breach of contract because of the salvage title. Be very careful with this company. I would definitely look elsewhere for coverage.
