I booked in for a car service at my car…
I booked in for a car service at my car and asked for the regular one ($219 or something) and was instead given a logbook service at $400. Further to this, the mechanics told me I required an additional $2200 in repairs. I chose to go to a different mechanic for a second opinion only to find out the repairs were not at all required.
Further, I don’t believe they checked the car overall. As an example, I was told my high beams work fine - no issues - except, there were no bulbs in the high beams. When you switch them on, nothing happens.
I firmly believe that I was overcharged, over quoted and the work completed was not up to standard considering the above.

The time taken to rectify certain problems that my car had was second to none. Great job boys.
SCAM It took two and a half our to put four…
It took two and a half our to put four new tyre and wheel alignment. This is a lot of down time for my business hence loss of business. They didn't test drive to make sure the alignment is done right. The alignment was out. I rang and spoke to Silvio the same day. Silvio said "come anytime and we will put you on". I said to him I can't afford down time so let's make a booking. He said "no need to book. Just come ant time". I then spoke to Alex a few days later. He gave the same commitment. I took time out and visited the store today 15th April. Alex asked for 3 hours wait time. I told him this is not what you guys told me. He said all the hoists are busy. Finally I had to book the time for 8 am the following day. I start work at 6 am. So, I am wasting a lot of tine therefore the money. When I presented my suffering to Alex today, he couldn't give a hoot. He told me I wasn't listening to him. According to him, as he implied, as long as the car is drive able, it's not urgent so they simply won't do it.
I believe I sould receive a decent compensation for my loss of business and suffering.

Not happy with recent service
I have visited my car to replace the tail light and front wiper blades. Light was on warranty so I was not charged but for wiper blades, I was not told about the price and after completion they have asked to pay $97 which I feel very expensive as I found cheaper in other online website such ad Amazon. They should inform about the price of items, before commencing the work.

The customer service is good, as soon as you walked in he said. How can I help? We needed new tyres, so he came out to check 1st and to see the condition they were in and told us you really need 4, which we knew that anyway, but it was lovely for him to check for us. He advised us on tyres and how much they were and we chose the Kumo ones that we had previously. He said he had to order the tyres in and if we could come back at 4pm which was good. The tyres arrived at 2pm so he rang and asked if we would like to come in earlier, which was great! Dropped the van off and went and had a coffee and time at the shops, was nearly finished when we arrived at the shop had a little chat with the manager, who is lovely. We've been to Broadmeadows previously and have always got the same service, they even checked the spare and made sure it had enough air pressure in it. This Mycar gives good service which is hard to come buy these days! Very happy customer... 😀
