Like many others i have fallen victim to the scam of famio known here as myfamio. I was at an event as a host and one of our guests lost her phone. I initially did not want to even pay for the 1 day plan but the guest was desperate and i just decided to help since the one day payment was under a dollar or so. I did not choose a plan, their service does not even work. I thought nothing of it but the next day i was billed and deducted a fee for a package i did not choose. These platforms are scammers and I really wish i had never subscribed. Now i am in a back and forth conversation via email with a support team who care more about money than customers. Absolutely criminal venture this one is. Avoid at all costs. Also, avoid helping strangers, now the guest i was helping has blocked me because i told her about the bill. Expensive lesson for me, well learnt.

This is the worst app ever
This is the worst app ever. I haven’t used their service because I wasn’t able to. I bought a 3 dollars membership for 3 days and found myself charged for a monthly membership without my consent. When I asked them for a refund for the 29.9 USD they took from my card for the membership, they refused and told me that the membership fee is non-refundable! Don’t signup. This is the biggest scam ever!

Charged automatically without clear indication this was going to happen, very difficult to get in touch with them and although they say you can cancel in the app it’s nigh on impossible. Don’t fall for it. Still awaiting them to get in touch.

Famio: A Rather Predatory Application at Best
Well, honestly, I don't know if the app works at all. I grabbed it to check it out, decided it wasn't for me and unloaded everything that had anything to do with Famio, but somehow, it has snuck it's way right into my credit cards and banking information and has attempted to charge me different fees of different amounts on several occasions as recently as a few minutes ago, hence the poor review. If you've not downloaded the app as of yet, I recommend you rethink the product for my personal experience is that it's rather predatory and their support department is difficult to locate and by design. Let's just see if they respond to my latest Cease and Desist Letter, albeit I'm not going to hold my breath.

The app I did not use however. My card was charged by mistake and after I made I review and Famio replied and I followed their instructions. They communicated with me and also they are processing my refund. I am satisfied in the sense.
