I have never had to make a claim before…

I have never had to make a claim before so it is difficult to rate performance - 2 years feels like a long time to sort the claim when I hear of others getting payments within a couple of weeks. I don't know whether the delay was due to the airline - Emirates - so perhaps I am being harsh? Many thanks for sorting and sending through a payment though - it is appreciated.

They will not fight too much for your…

They will not fight too much for your compensation, they will send one request for compensation, and if the airline will accept it, fine, if not, that's it.
For one delayed flight where Myflightrefund.com failed to win the comensation for me, I got it from another agency, they took over my case and where, Myflightrefund.com failed, Airhelp have won for me.

I'm sorry that we couldn't help you this time. We evaluate each claim for compensation individually to establish if you are entitled to compensation, and how much you can claim before we go ahead and send the claim to the airline. In your case, we were confident that we could help you get your compensation and we, therefore, went ahead and sent your claim to the airline who then rejected it, stating that the delay was caused by air traffic control restrictions. Unfortunately, this is regarded as extraordinary circumstances meaning that the airline has no control of such conditions. After carefully evaluating whether the rejection was justified, we decided to close your case. We always do our best to handle all claims as thouroughly as possible, and we take pride in going all the way to protect air passengers' rights, but mistakes will inevitably happen. I apologise if we could have done more to secure your compensation.
