After years of paying way too much for my glasses,finding Colin and his wonderful selection of frames is a godsend. He is so helpful and doesn't pressurise you into anything. I found his friendly advise and his clear explanation of what I was to expect from my new glasses helpful. There is no long waiting time either. His 60 day guarantee is also a fantastic plus. So all in all, I'm totally satisfied!!

Needed to change my prescription but over the years have found local independent and high street chain opticians always seem to want you to buy new frames as well as lens. If you ask if they can change lens on a existing frame they give you the 'doom' message. 'Ok but we won't be responsible if the frames are damaged'. Amazing how little faith they have in the labs they use? This is apart from the silly prices they quote (arm and leg country). So this time I found Precision Eyewear on You Tube of all places showing how they could re-furbish the particular brand of my spectacles, which I'd also damaged in a fall. Rang and spoke to Colin who was very helpful, saying he could repair, re-furbish and re-lens together with useful advice re different types of lens. Prices were reasonable so I sent the spectacles to him. He kept me informed by email of progress and turned the work around quickly. I'm really pleased with how the work has turned out. The lens are light, well fitted and the frame has been well repaired. Couldn't have asked for more really. So I can wholeheartedly recommend Precision Eyewear. Would have no hesitancy using the business again. Good service and Top marks!

I have used precision optics previously for a repair to my frames, but I went back this time with my new prescription. I intended to get new lenses for my existing frames (which is SUCH a great idea !) and ended up loving all the display frames so much that I purchased a new pair ! So I had new lenses put in my old frames AND purchased a new pair and I couldn’t be happier! Colin was very helpful and friendly and I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything like other stores tend to make me feel. Everything about my experience was positive. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the service provided, pleasant & informative company.

Had my recent eye test after 2 years (lockdown). Distance and reading glasses both prescriptions updated and frames repaired as new. Posted frames to Colin and appointment made when I returned to Walton on the Naze the following week to collect them from his business premises where I felt very safe with regard to Covid rules and regulations.

1st class professional service from Colin at "Precision Optics Eyewear". After having had cataract surgery, I needed some different glasses, or should I say, different lens? Having a few frames that were now redundant and in good condition, I contacted Colin to see if he could just replace the lens as my local opticians are always reluctant to do this and just wanted me to purchase new frames, of which I did not need? Colin told me it's no problem and all he needed was a current prescription and frames? I sent my Jeff Banks frames which were reglazed with polarised prescription lenses, they are fantastic! Thanks again Colin, will use again!

Absolutely brilliant service, Colin helped me every step of the way, helping with my new frames and explaining the difference between the various lens types.
I ordered my verifocal frames and lenses which took approximately 10 days for the lenses to arrive and for me to go and have my fitting and finally collect.

Excellent products at a very affordable price. Ordered a reglaze of existing frames with transition lenses. Delivered to my door within 10 days! Immediately ordered a new pair of readers and these were done even more quickly. Colin is very professional and friendly. He doesn't try and sell you his glasses, he wants you to buy the right ones for you based on his advice.

I contacted Precision Optics recently for new bifocal glasses. Was very impressed with the home trial selection, followed up with delivery by Colin of the frames. I tried them out over the weekend and chose my frame. Colin gave me excellent advice with the various options available. I now have a beautiful pair of glasses at a very good price. Colin is very knowledgeable and highly professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will be certainly be a returning customer.
