Most probably a Scam Website

I just wanted to get a sakura tsurikawa for my girlfriend, and when I placed the order, there was no tracking number which I thought was weird but didn't raise any red flags at the time.

But then 2 weeks passed and not even a word from the company. I reached out through their support section on their website, and email, and have yet to hear back. All I keep getting is the link to view my order and to "buy again".

It sucks because it looks like they had a bunch of cool stuff on their website, too bad its all just a sham. Couldn't even get a refund, so they just got 15 dollars richer because I didn't research the site. Don't be like me, please do proper research on sites before you order from them!

This is why I now learned to do research before I order anything online i happen to come across their ad/ website on Facebook me mixing it up with another company and wanting to try Japanese snacks so bad i ordered only to then think about researching them I seen a lot of comments but still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt just to still not get a tracking number or hear anything back so I decided to email them and I still haven't heard nothing back that was in 2019 it's been years now and I still never got my crate or got a email back let alone my money back i can wholeheartedly say that these people are SCAMMERS whatever you do do not give them your money I beg you if you want a real Japan crate please try japancrate.com I promise you won't be disappointed.

Never order from this scam…

Never order from this scam ass website. Box never arrived, it's been 2 months. Website crashed so the link they emailed you for your order, you can't check. They don't send you a tracking anyways so I have no idea what the link for the order number was going to do.

Unprofessional Incompetence Dishonest

It's not even deserving of 1 star. If I could I would enter 0 stars. Does not ship out orders, and does not reply to emails. Complete scam and clearly owes many people a lot of money. I suggest go through your payment method (credit card, bank, paypal, etc.) and dispute the charge, ask for a charge back credit and refund.

They haven't sent anything within 2 months!

They ignore e-mails and no other contact details are available on their site.

I had to request a refund thru Paypal.

Avoid those scammers!

Wouldn't recommend.

I made an order for the Sakura box back in May 2020. It's currently over half way through 2021 so you can probably see where this is going. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to what was going on in the world, around the world. Many months down the line I received a small parcel with a bracelet, a thin notepad, and a few other items, not worth it. So I emailed them that it's not almost £40 worth of stuff. There was probably £10, and I basically got the response of 'well you got your items'. So I left it at that. I wasn't very happy, at all, but I wasn't going to get anywhere with it. And now, I have received what I assume is the actual Sakura box that I ordered last May. I do think I've been charged for this box as I've not noticed payments for it. I have ordered other subscriptions from Japan that have been so professional and have items worth the money, that I'm almost shocked at the customers service. Items in the box aren't worth the price, and my order is 'On Hold' according to my Orders. So I don't know what's going on there.

Totally feel ripped off

Totally feel ripped off. It is SO expensive compared to what you get, the info from them regarding shipping and their costumer service. I have tried other japanese snack boxes where they where around the same prize but much better quality.
We wrote them after ordering it - it's been a month and they only sent out an auto-message about how they where behind - no personal answer to our question.
It arrived a few weeks late, with no notice from the company that they even shipped it - and the content is very little and 100% not worth the money- with no description in it on the items, so no idea what I open as it is written in Japanese.
You get the feeling they really don't care about what they sell or their costumers. JUST DONT ORDER FROM THEM. There are many other japanese snack boxes that are totally worth it - not these people.

Ordered the Sakura box for $40

Ordered the Sakura box for $40. Total was $50 with shipping and a coupon code. The box arrived a few weeks late and it’s a few sample sized items and an ugly bowl. Easily worth $5 or less from a store like Daiso. It’s a complete rip off. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just threw the box together after I complained that it was supposed to ship two weeks ago. Also there was no tracking or shipping info provided once it shipped. On the website the order still says “processing.”

Im really sad I ordered anything from…

Im really sad I ordered anything from myjapanbox. I wanted to celebrate the end of my exams and ordered a three months subscribtion box and a mega box in October. I only received one subscribtion box. I have no idea what happened to the rest. They never answer any of my messages. Wish I checked them out before ordering. Now I lost a bunch of money, which I saved up for a while. Very disappointed. Dont repeat my mistake.

What a bunch of scammers. I placed an order which was never posted. Months later I requested a refund as it was never sent. They promised a refund then never refunded. I emailed over a period of months demanding my refund and my emails went ignored. Finally they replied with an extremely rude email. Still no refund. I finally placed a claim with Paypal and was reimbursed. DO NOT BUY!

Irresponsible customer service. SCAM!!

It has now been 2 months since I paid for a box that’s supposed to be a birthday present for someone and it’s STILL “processing” on the website whenever I would check. I have asked for updates both directly by email and through their contact form but no one has gotten back to me. Not even a generic response to say that they’ve received my message and will get back to me soon? At least let us know an actual human is manning their business?

Their social media is also useless — either they ignore you completely or you just get snippy retorts, so unprofessional!!

It’s obvious from the responses that they don’t care about their customers and only want to take people’s money. So rude!

I should have researched the website before giving them my cash. 🙄

3 out of 4 boxes have not arrived, keeping getting charged

They have charged us for four boxes and we have only received the first one. We have contacted them twice about the issue with no response. I understand COVID is happening, but we need some communication or a way to track (the website is not giving me the option to track the missing boxes, only the received ones). We have canceled the subscription and are currently seeking either the missing boxes or a refund. Either way, we will not be using this service again.

I ordered a Cardcaptor Sakura box on…

I ordered a Cardcaptor Sakura box on May 20,2020 and as of today February 5, 2021 I still have not received the box. I’ve emailed them a few times and the first couple of times got a reply saying it was behind because of COVID. Emailed them about 2 weeks ago again and haven’t heard anything. I am not going to pay an extra $24 for DHL shipping when I doubt the box will end up being worth all that money plus the extra shipping fee! Do not order from this horrible company.

We are not responsible for covid, the extra delivery fee of using DHL, or the suspension of delivery in many country by the Japan Post.

If you are not satisfied with the solution we proposed, simply ask for a refund and it will be done immediately.
May 2020 to February 2021 -> we have sent out many emails, newsletter, update on our website and SNS. Many people have decided to upgrade, receive their order and are satisfied obviously.

We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us but no being satisfied and calling us an horrible company are two different things.

The product in the Naruto subscription…

The product in the Naruto subscription box is phenomenal and top of the line, however, after sale customer service is lacking.
I have been billed 3 times and have only received one figurine and no other tracking numbers and I have not been able to get in touch with anyone. Really leaning towards cancelling my subscription, which would be a shame as the product is beautiful.

WARNING FRAUD

WARNING FRAUD : I ordered a box on June 3rd 2020, I paid extra fees for express delivery for France. The total amount was paid few days later. But no japan box!!! I tried to be patient because of covid and I wrote to my japan box only in August. They told me the box was beeing sent the day after. Since then, I wrote back again but still no news, no box and they have my money!!!! To all : BE CAREFUL!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS NOT SERIOUS!!!!

Would not use again

Would not use again. I ordered two one-time boxes. One ramen box for my boyfriend (ramen addict) and a limited time Sakura box for myself. I paid for tracking on both of these parcels. We never received a tracking number at all. His arrived after approximately 3 months, the website that said due to Covid-19, mail would be delayed and deliveries would be expected after 1-2 months latest. I am from the UK and two out of 3 delivery routes were (and still are active).

I am writing this review on 24th October '20, having ordered the boxes on 24th May '20. I still do not have the Sakura box, they have ignored 3 emails from me and 2 submissions on their online contact form. I have had to get PayPal involved to attempt to get a refund. Today, I finally gained tracking information, however, Japan Post says it does not exist.

I'll be honest, I ordered them as a treat due to the stress that we are all going through, but it's just not worth it. This has been a source of stress for me. I wish I never ordered from this company. At the very least they could have replied to me to help me understand the situation, updated me on the parcel, or informed me on developments. It's made me feel totally helpless.

2 Years of Nothing. . . Still

UPDATE: Still no boxes. And just to clarify, I still have every email and receipt between me and them.

About 2 years ago, I ordered 3 one-time boxes. The first, I did not pay for a tracking number. The other two, I payed for a tracking number. After about 2 months, the tracking number still showed up as non-existent and customer service stopped responding. Luckily, my bank was able to force-refund the 2 latter boxes but not the first one. It's been 2 years and the first box still has not arrived. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!
