More support than I could ever need!

I feel so supported with Juniper on this journey. I haven’t told many people I am doing this because of the judgement that comes with the weight loss injections, but I haven’t even needed to. I have daily support from my Health Coach, check ins and support from the medical team regularly, access to more support than I may ever need! Responses are always quick if I have a question and there is so much information in the app too.

I like easy of booking appointments and…

I like easy of booking appointments and discussions with the team. It’s easy to switch medication if the initial one isn’t working for you. The additional cost health coaching by an AI robot when on MJ vs W were you can opt out of this too save some $$ is a bit ridiculous. You are paying a premium not sure if it’s totally worth it but my doctor won’t prescribe me the meds so it’s my only choice.
For me the meds work I have lost weight slowly, (22kgs in 18 months) some people have massive loss but that hasn’t been my experience. So don’t expect your experience to be the same as everyone else. Set yourself realistic goals and make the effort to prioritise protein.

The staff at Juniper are so lovely

The staff at Juniper were so lovely & kind from the very beginning that it made me confident to ask for help with weight loss. I didn’t need to lose a lot of weight but I can’t begin to tell you the difference 10 kilos makes! I feel like my younger self again even though I am now 60 years old. I honestly feel as strong as I did at 40 thanks to my Pilates classes which are easier because of some weight loss which of course makes me want to go more! Thanks to Juniper, I get the support & ideas & recipes from them to make sure I can truly change some food habits because I am not feeling ravenous & making bad food decisions. I lost the weight I gained very slowly with absolutely no side effects from Mounjaro. I chose to stay on the initial dose the entire time & Juniper were completely fine with that. My coach at Juniper is fantastic & you can have as little or as much contact as you want (through the Juniper app) texting your coach. I am so grateful to Juniper!

Juniper Support is Atrocious and Underhanded

Juniper Support was atrocious. I requested my dosage be lowered because I was experiencing negative side effects. That was difficult enough to organise.

However Juniper took me off my original subscription plan and put me on a new one without Health Coach support without telling me, but kept charging me the same price. I didn't request a new subscription plan, just help with my symptoms.

I still had a Health Coach allocated to me but I could no longer chat with them as Juniper had disabled it. My health coach kept sending me messages but I couldn't reply. I emailed customer support about this issue asking it to be fixed and got so many non-responses telling me they acknowledged how frustrating it must be without actually doing anything. These replies to my questions asking where my access was felt like they'd been put through chat-gpt.

I also asked repeatedly that they notify my health coach that I wasn't ignoring her & that my chat was read only, but Juniper didn't.

After about 2-3 weeks of back and forth I was finally told that Juniper had put me onto a new plan without telling me, and that in order to access to my health coach again I would have to pay extra. I told them to cancel my subscription completely because I found this to be so sneaky and unethical.

Only when I threatened to pull my money did Juniper offer to honour my original subscription, but absolutely not. It should not take weeks and weeks of asking repeatedly for an answer, of a company disregarding their own contractors and squeezing their patients (CUSTOMERS) for money until that money threatens to walk for Juniper to do the right thing.

If they really cared about the health of their customers, they wouldn't quietly switch their customer's plans and access when those customers ask for symptom help, then tell them to pay more when the customers notice their support is suddenly gone without explanation.

Watch out

Watch out. Easy, quick and efficient. No dramas at all.
My only criticism is that you do tend to plateau at given points. I am guessing this is the bodies way of getting used to the program. My aim was to loose 10Kg, at present I am stuck on the loss of 6Kg. But perseverance prevails
