Whatever I did to activate the Equifax payment on this prepaid card did not work. And now there is no one to help. It is all online - nothing online works to resolve the problem. The place is hopeless like most of life these days. Equifax just sends me the same phone number that is impossible to find a person because you have to work through so many options that just tell you to go to the website. We should be paid the money that Equifax is paying this website.

I have bought 4 card of 25$ because they did not have higher amounts available even if advertised.
I have redeem only one to test and all mercahants, even GPAY got declined.
Also, as i needed to activate the card, I paid the 1,95$ to verify it, but after 3 days the amount did not get refunded!!!
It's unbelievable they offer a service to use the cards everywhere and all merchants got declined!!!
Tried to call and you never get answered...
Total SCAM!!!
I will report this to the authority and to my Company, which has given me the credit as a Prize, in order to cancel the contract with them.
I WANT AN EXPLANATION AND MY MONEY REFUNDED!!!!!!

I've had this card for almost a year or there about, and within this period I was only able to use it successfully ONCE. In fact, at some point, it was expired and I had to write a review complaining about their service and/or product here, and was promptly issued a new card containing my balance (commendable); although with a shorter expiry date.
Having said that, since April that I received a new issuance, the card has been useless for me, as almost all the sites where I had tried to use it whether to buy a product or pay for service has been unsuccessful. In fact, I just tried it again few weeks ago, on two different websites to pay for a software service, with both attempts resulting into bad experiences.
At this point I really don't know what to think, whether the company is deliberately blocking or is not willing to allow payment to go through from their end - or maybe they are being selective or restrictive as to where one is allowed to use the card, which was not communicated to me as of the time I got the card.
Furthermore, reading through several other reviews here, it is quite obvious that I am not alone in this ship, as several other customers have reported failure of being unable to use their card for payment. For one, I keep getting authentication issue (Unable to authenticate your payment method, please try another payment method), even though all the card details were being properly entered during checkout.
Now, I still have funds on the card, which unfortunately expired in Aug, 2025. :(
Do I need to write this off as a loss or is there a way of getting another card, and this time, with the ability to be able to spend the funds without limitations and I would appreciate it if I can get back my fund too.

Virtual prepaid card cannot be used on Steam

This was a class-action settlement payment. I have been unable to use this e-card for anything. All attempts to use it are declined. None of the reasons for being declined given in the FAQ apply. Apparently all attempts to use the card are automatically declined. Presumably when the card expires they will keep the funds. I would not be surprised to learn that some of the money will be returned to the company that paid the settlement.

I received a payout from myprepaidcenter a week ago.
I clicked the link, attempted to redeem it. They asked to verify with an email link (that I am the recipient.) I never received the link.
If I try to redeem the payout now, their website will say: (Something went wrong on our end. Try again later)
I called their customer service today, was put on hold for 50 minutes, even though I was told it would be a 30 minute wait time. This customer service rep kept asking for a whole bunch of my information (address, name, email) said she would resend the email to me, and it would arrive in 15 minutes.
It is now 6 hours later, and I still haven't received an email (checked my spam folder and everything)
May God help you if you have to deal with this business
UPDATE:
Their team that monitors this review board actually did send the email to access the card. I was able to spend the funds, too. So yes, I was able to access the funds

I recently got a payout and my card keeps being declined everywhere and I cannot get a hold of ANYONE

Total scam. I received a $100 gift card. It keeps getting declined everywhere I have tried to use it. I cannot log into the website despite having set up an account. I have tried to contact them and they just have toll free number that gives you the run around. How are they still in business?

Hello,
I’ve activated a virtual debit card, but I’m unable to use it on any website or digital wallet. Every time I try, I receive the same message: “Please contact the card issuer.”
I’ve double-checked the card details and tried using it on different platforms, but the issue persists. I have available funds, but I can’t access them, which is extremely frustrating. I need an urgent solution, as this service is currently ineffective and causing me inconvenience.
I look forward to a clear and immediate response to resolve this issue.

Card worked fine for the first few weeks then the last $76 disappeared out of nowhere. Couldn’t contact customer support with any of the numbers provided and toll free program was terrible and unproductive. No explanation on my transaction history to explain where my money went. DO NOT USE THIS.

Same as every other review. I have a $110 prepaid card and it's declined EVERYWHERE. I checked the funds, the billing address, and the name. Everything is correct yet it won't accept any payments and now my money is stuck in a dead card and customer support doesnt get back to any emails. I'm so upset

This place is a joke. I had two settlements from data breaches at two different companies. Both used My Prepaid Center. It seemed like it would be easy at first so I added the cards to my Google wallet. Shortly after though, the balance started disappearing due to fees. Then when I bought a new phone, I was unable to transfer them for some reason even though it's the same wallet (this may be a Google issue but I'm sure they're aware). The only way to transfer them was by adding the card details manually, but they never sent that info and won't provide it. If you log in to the site, there's no way to see that info. So I just ordered a plastic card from them since "virtual card" seems to mean "you really don't have anything at all." Guess what? $3 per card fee to do that. So my measly $11 payout from the most recent one became $8.
Why is this even the system? A criminal corporation exposed my personal information on the internet, so I got $11 freaking dollars (not enough for a lunch where I live), and then they transferred that money to a criminal corporation, My Prepaid Center, so they can keep mining my identity, my accounts, and at this my point, my soul for value.
I can't even use the words I want to here because my review would be censored. So just imagine all the bad words you can, multiply them by 3, and then apply them to this company.

Reporting them to A.G. and FTC. This corrupt way of running people around on a phone line that doesn't answer questions is part of their scam. The other is forcing to use a virtual card when you don't have the ability to. I'm so tired of the complete ineptitude and sending me in circles that don't answer my question when I try to contact via email or reply to their idiot emails. Their cryptic instructions they send don't help and you cannot get human assistance except to send a virtual GD card again, or wanting to charge more for a plastic card. NO MORE!!! I'm going after Equifax for this, too!

Card doesnt work anywhere. Instead of asking people to share information so they can assist. How about you provide us a list of places this can actually work at?

This is absolutely ridiculous. I was sent a prepaid Mastercard and told to activate it at myprepaidcenter.com. Guess what? The site doesn’t open. Not on Chrome, not on Firefox, not on Safari, not on mobile — nothing works! I tried on multiple devices and it’s the same result every time: a dead, useless site.
How can a company responsible for holding people’s money have a website that’s completely inaccessible? It feels like a scam when you can’t even get to the page to claim what’s rightfully yours. Shameful, unprofessional, and downright unacceptable. If they can’t run a simple website, how can anyone trust them with payments?
UPDATE: No, you did NOT send me any email! What disgusting liars you are!!!

First time using this gift card, terrible experience. Gift card is in US dollars which is fine, but can not use it anywhere online or in person. No information on the website to resolve the problem and no way to contact customer service without calling a number in the US and being left on hold. This company is a scam and should make it clear that using it outside of the USA is virtually impossible. Awful experience and I have now lost money that could have been used somewhere else.

Received a gift card code. Have been attempting for the last 7 days to activate it. The link takes me to a plain white page, and clicking I have a code on the site does nothing.

The 1 star average review should tell it all.
This is just a company that is a scam due to the incompetent system and lack of any decent customer service.

I have been receiving gift cards from here left and right through the fetch app and have never had a problem until now! My $25 gift card is not working anywhere even though I have activated it through my email, and I am unable to reach anyone on the customer service line, I have been on hold with nobody picking up.
