I am a frequent online shopper, and I’ve shopped from many different platforms. Unfortunately, My Runway is by far the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had.
My order took much longer than it should have to be delivered. I then had to return half of my parcel because the sizing was misleading — for example, the sweatpants never stated that they were skinny fit.
Although the return collection was arranged quickly, there was absolutely no communication afterwards. I had to follow up myself just to confirm whether they had even received my return.
I also brought to their attention that the refund amount shown on the return request email was incorrect, and I was assured that it would be corrected. However, 11 days later, I received the refund and it was still the exact wrong amount I had already pointed out before.
I am really disappointed with the overall experience. I hate struggling to get basic assistance, and I hate it even more when there is little to no communication. But the final straw for me was receiving the incorrect refund amount after already reporting the issue well in advance.
Bought a skirt but it was missing a button
This is terrible website..Do not buy from here. I was about placed an order for a shoe that showed that it was still in stock , only to be told later on while checking out to make payment that the item was no longer available!!!
Awesome experience! I always do my research before buying and called MyRunway customer service before ordering. I was happy to find that there is a call centre ready and waiting to assist. My order arrived promptly and I'm beyond thrilled with my new shoes!
I have ordered a bra from My Runway 3 - 4 times (have lost count by now). Each time I have been sent a panty. The last 2 - 3 times upon placing my order, I have emailed My Runway Support and requested that they check the items prior to desptach to ensure that the proper items were despatched. Each time I was assured that it would be done - not so. The first time because I returned an item that was too small together with the incorrect item, upon notification and having to pay the full courier collect fee which was later partially credited, I received a R100.00 credit note which if you take into account the courier fees of R79.00 equates to a credit of R21.00. Not much of an apology for the inconvenience and the heads up to them to check the that the correct items were dispatched. I decided foolishly to give them another chance after they said they would check with the warehouse and get the issue sorted - Not sorted - bra ordered - panty delivered - escalated with management again - radio silence again - credit of ? offered - told them if it was going to R100.00 it was not worth my while. Still waiting on a response despite 2 emails and 2 calls! Thanks My Runway. I used to be a very good customer!!!!!
I was skeptical at first when I was doing the first purchase. Checked reviews and scam advisor. Everything was under the radar. I did the purchase and within 2 days my parcel was delivered. Been buying ever since.
