mytello makes it easy to keep in touch my elderly relatives who only have land lines. It is easy to use, but I feel the app could be made better by not calling the person when I click on an entry in my call history.

With mytello I am able to make calls to Philippines and the connection is very stable and clear. In case that the calls are interrupted Martin, the founder of mytello gives you back the credit used for the failed call. It's true that there is a 100% money back. I highly recommend this app to anybody who wants to make calls abroad and save money.

Mytello has been the perfect tool to make low cost international calls at a few cents per minute. Clarity is excellent and on par with normal cellular calling. Connection is immediate, and customer service is always available.

Enticed by the professional, well-functioning website, and seemingly open processes of loading funds and use of services.
Unfortunately, calls made to Germany repeatedly dropped for seconds at a time and were difficult to hear on both ends. Also, the dial-in local numbers for international calls did not work.
Most frustratingly, several attempts to contact customer service by Chat or Email resulted in no response at all.

Update on March 23, 2025. Following my original review on TrustPilot which was less than complementary, I received a message of help from a MyTello customer service representative. He helped me sort out the problem I was having. The dial-in local number now works as promised, and the call quality is much better than when using the app. I am happy to no longer be reliant on big Telecom and their exorbitant rates for international calls.

I could not choose keypad options, therefor they couldn't transfer me to the correct department. I assumed if I just wait, that I eventually will end up at general enquiries, but no. I ended up waiting my money up without being transferred. Only hearing the menu options about every 5 minutes with music playing in between.

Great for calling UK landlines from abroad. With WiFi calls are clear and reasonably priced.

Excellence service, very clear phone calls. You would not know that you are not just making a regular phone call. The only problem I have had was when I need to select options at the other end of the phone call for example press one for customer service press two for my orders or something. For some reason the machine could not seem to recognize the numbers that I was typing. But I don’t know if that was a problem at their end or if somehow mytello was not transmitting the numbers I was pressing with sufficient clarity.

Exemplary customer service that always strives to find a solution and overall a fantastic option for individuals who want to make cheap international calls without having access to internet.

My experience calling Canada from the Netherlands has been wonderful. I used to use Skype but MyTello costs less and is better quality. The customer service is great and the top up is easy.

Impressive website, slick user interface, lots of good reviews. Easy to understand options for use. However, after loading payment using the app resulted in poor quality international calls, frequent dropped calls, trouble hearing on both sides. In addition, trying to set up local number dial-in for international calls never worked. Tried to get help from customer service through company Chat but no response. Totally disappointing.
